Path of Exile 2 will carve a, er, path to PS5 in late 2024, developer Grinding Gear Games has revealed. Previously, the anticipated sequel was only confirmed for PC, but its early access period will kick off on Sony's current-gen system as well.
If you're totally out of the loop, Path of Exile is a Diablo-like, loot-heavy action RPG that's free-to-play. This second game basically promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor, which has already proven to be a huge hit over the years.

A free to play game... Yewh ill skip it.
Enjoyed the first game for a good bit. This looks considerably better in the graphics department. Will definitely check it out for free!
@Flaming_Kaiser For what it's worth, the original Path of Exile is a very good example of free-to-play done right.
Ggg embracing playstation gamers this time around. Now I'm. Excited for the game. Especially with d4 doing much better, the arpg world is looking better and better.
Loved the first game. I played it on the PC when it originally launched along side diablo 3 and it really gave diablo a good run for its money. Played the ps4 version which was ropey to say the least but the ps5 enhanced edition was superb and so smooth in 4k@60fps. This was never announced as a PC exclusive (maybe the beta) and it was stated ages ago it was launching on ps5 at the end of a trailer.
My wife and I looked forward to co-op'ing in Diablo 4. She was very sad to see it was such a massive stinker. We'll definitely give this a try. Price is right at least
This is frustrating. On one hand it has couch co-op, on the other it's F2P. I stay away from any F2P, gacha, or smilar type of game, no matter how well they use the monetisation model.
@ShogunRok Im sorry i have nothing with free to play. I rather pay and play like the old days there is always a catch which i dont feel like in any form.
