When MultiVersus returns next week on 28th May, one of the brand new fighters joining the party is Jason Voorhees, the iconic villain from the Friday the 13th movies. Here he is in all his splendour, and he looks like a very fun tank class character.

He seems to mostly utilise close-range melee attacks with various weapons like knives and axes, while some of his specials look like they're inspired by the films — the sleeping bag, for instance, and even his futuristic appearance from Jason X.

Jason joins Joker, Banana Guard, and Agent Smith as Season 1 characters for the new and improved MultiVersus. Will you be playing as the horror icon? Let us know in the comments section below.
