NetEase has now confirmed Marvel Rivals is heading to PS5. In case you aren't aware, this is a multiplayer shooter featuring various Marvel heroes and villains, and you'll soon be able to play it on Sony's console.
You can see the game in action in the above trailer, which also confirms a few other things. Firstly, two new characters are unveiled here — Venom and Adam Warlock. Additionally, Marvel Rivals is getting a closed beta test on PS5 in July, so it really won't be very long before you can take it for a spin.
The game has two teams of six going against each other in this PvP shooter. Players can choose whichever class and hero they want, and certain characters will have special team-up abilities, so there's some strategy there in figuring out your team's composition.

Is there a way to register for the closed beta?
This game looks totally uninteresting. If I were going to play an online PVP game, I think I'd choose Concord over this, assuming Concord is better than Overwatch, which is admittedly a low bar to clear.
Didn't know there was a strong desire to play Overwatch without having to play Overwatch 😐 also it's weird Sony showed their game Concord and in the same State of Play showed a direct competitor in Marvel Rivals.
Where are we supposed to get all these infinite hours that these companies think we have to play all these Live service games? Btw we still have two live service games coming from Bungie and then there's Fairgame$ so apparently we have all the time in the world!
Destructible environments are a nice touch, but otherwise I am not interested in this!
I think this looks dope as hell, to be honest. But then, I've been waiting for some more Marvel-wide games since UA3.

We need another ultimate alliance. Marvel heroes was good f2p.... sadly it was shut down because of ceo being awful.

One of the few Marvel games I won't play. They could have done so much more, but alas. Hope it turns out good for those interested in it.

No Cyclops No Interest. I'll gladly take an X-men open world gacha like Genshin or even turn based like HSR. I'm surprised they're not doing that instead of an Overwatch clone.
Was the gameplay captured from mobile? Why is everyone moving so stiffly?
