The next big Atlus JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will be taking to the Summer Game Fest stage next month to share new details about the game. Director Katsura Hashino and artist Shigenori Soejima will be on stage to present the game to fans in attendance and watching via livestream, presumably revealing new footage. The show takes place on 7th June 2024.
Following a recent developer showcase, the RPG has already been dated for PS5, PS4, launching on 11th October 2024. So far, it seems to be Persona in reverse, with battles — both turn-based and action-heavy — in the day and relationship-building left for when the sun goes down. Is there anything in particular you want to know about Metaphor: ReFantazio that could be revealed at SGF? Let us know in the comments below.

The only other game I'm looking forward to playing..... after another Atlus game releases next month.
I buy precious little at full price, especially $70 games, but if this reviews well, I might have to buy in at launch. Footage has looked stellar so far.
I’m already sold because Atlus. But I’m going to watch this anyways during SGF. I’m sure it’ll hype me up even more
This summer is gonna be a backlog year, but as soon as this comes out im buying day 1. I know Sega games go on sale relatively fast, but I want to support this team and, if it reviews well, what I’ve seen looks more than worthy of $70.
I don't do $70 games. I'll probably cave and make an exception here though.
@NathanKang I feel you.
Hyper Light Breaker and Ys X as well for me.
