How is The Last of Us: Part I still that expensive??
@LiamCroft the "for a complete ..." link takes me to the US store, as the prices are in dollars. Whilst I can navigate to the UK store myself, you may want to change the accompanying text or having separate store links like you normally do.
(I'm sure it's just a deliberate mistake to see if people are reading these sales posts )
Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY edition is £3.49. Quite an old game but still fun and includes all the DLC.
As should be said anytime Spider Man Remastered goes on sale, you can currently get it cheaper ($20) by buying the Ultimate Edition Upgrade on the PS5 version of Miles Morales (which is free at the Extra tier of PS+).
Going to check the sale.
Still no article about hookshots new business daddy? Would be worth mentioning.
@tameshiyaku We remain independent, as we always have been. Please see here: https://x.com/hookshotmedia/status/1792962023854342231
We have different definitions of 'cheap'.
if you want to find out what games are selling at their LOWEST ever price then take a look at PSdeals.net because they have a "cheaper than ever" section.

its a bad sale event and not really worth looking at
@kirkn Good shout, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be accurate. I bought Burnout Paradise Remastered for a steal at £1.79 a month ago. It's currently in the 'cheaper than ever' section for £3.59.
@Kanji-Tatsumi. 2014 game of the year.dragon age inquisition game of the year is a masterpiece.and its still got amazing graphics.story.boss fights.and play as a mage/sorcerer.word up son
Ugh, still no 50% off the Star Trek and Expanse adventure games, or the RDR1 port/remaster. Doesn't Sony tend to have a big summer sale in early June?
@tameshiyaku That's really discouraging news about Eurogamer and the others. RPS, was too much for my tastes but the others 😶
@Icey664
Right. I'm waiting, too.
@Icey664 I think Sony is trying to be like Nintendo and never lower their first party prices under 40. I've also noticed that there's no greatest hits games this gen, I think ps plus extra and premium has replaced it
@CallMeDuraSouka @LiamCroft @tameshiyaku You have to admit it looks pretty weird that IGN, one of the largest gaming websites out there, bought Eurogamer et al, also one of the largest gaming websites out there, and you guys remain mum, while any little small gaming company gets bought or sold and you guys have 3 articles about it, 1 about the company being bought, 1 about the company doing the buying, and 1 about how it’s bad for the industry. So you guys purposely deciding NOT to do an article about it is weird.
And besides, you aren’t completely unaffected as they are a stockholder now, so while redundancy may not be an issue, they could still try to exert some power. So if does seem like something you guys normally would cover, making it look like perhaps Ant or Damo, or your new shareholders, don’t want you too?🤷🏻♂️
“It also owns shares in Hookshot, which runs Nintendo Life, Push Square, Pure Xbox and Time Extension; Outside Xbox; and Digital Foundry.”

@rjejr Idk, there might be a massive difference between companies that create videogames and ones that write articles about them. If there is, could be why the reporting on their business dealings isn't the same.
@Icey664 Could be Naughty Dog trying to make up for all the money lost on Factions
@GKT Could be as simple as that, but do you really think it isn't at least tangentially related? 🤷♂️
Here's a quick google list of some of the other, what I would consider to be gaming related websites, to have covered it the past 2 days.

Forbes isn't a gamer site but they go have a "Games" section.

@AK4tywill I bought burnout for a fiver and thought it was a steal. £1.79 is crazy!
Unicorn Overlord looks like a buy to me!
@Icey664 last of us is holding it's physical resale value too, which is very unusual for a big title single player playstation game. And definitely unusual for a title that drew so much (public) negativity when it first came out.
