Second Silent Hill Transmission Invites Imminent 'Game Updates, a Deeper Look at the Film'

Definitely excited for this but it also makes me feel like a showcase or SOP is even less likely at this point.

I guess PS showcase isn't gonna happen for this month huh since Konami gonna do their own showcase for SH.

I really want them to talk about Silent Hill f. It's the only one Im interested in

@jFug we know of 3 games that will be revealed in june. concord, astrobot and an indie game partnered with ps so is either a show or a big presence at summer games.

@jFug Rumours are it's going to be a state of play this week or next week with a proper showcase in September.

Will catch the Transmission and hold an interest in the SH2 Remake however the poor Ascension and underwhelming The Short Message have reduced expectations personally. Even the Pyramid Head shot from the new film isn't great though Christophe Gans directing gives some hope, first film was decent

If so, I do wish it comes to all platforms. But I honestly don’t think it will happen.

@anoyonmus Do they need the source code? The PS1, PS2, and Vita games all run in emulators on PS4/5. I think adding trophies is not a problem. Ps1 games like 2extreme, G-police, Jet Moto, Kurushi, Wild Arms, are unlikely to have gone back to the source code to add trophies. There are many 3rd party PS1 games that don't have trophies added also, so it depends how it's handled maybe

Tbh, I more excited about the movie since I like movies so im watching this to see more about the movie.

@jFug That happened back with the first Silent Hill event. There was lots of rumours about an October 2022 Playstation Showcase but in the end we saw lots of standalone PS related announcements instead. Silent Hill got its own event with SH2 remake being PS exclusive, Resident Evil got its own event with State of Play branding, FFXVI got a big standalone trailer, etc.

As an audiophile I hope they release a CD soundtrack of silent hill 2 remake for the merch.

@Specky Fangamer has it. They have 1,3 and 4 on vinyl as well but you may have to wait for a re-stock.
