PS Plus leaker turned general insider Billbil-Kun has shared word that Sony is planning to launch its annual Days of Play promotion next week on Wednesday, 29th May 2024. The initiative traditionally marks the start of a huge PS Store sale along with PS Plus offers and discounts across the PlayStation Direct website. In years gone by, Days of Play has also happened around the same time as a PlayStation Showcase.
The Dealabs report says the usual PS Plus discounts are expected — 25 per cent off all PS Plus tiers is possible — while PS5 consoles and the PSVR2 headset could also be temporarily cut in price. Expect a full round up here on Push Square should the claim be true.
PlayStation Showcases have lined up with the Days of Play promotion in the past few years, and with rumours claiming Sony plans to host one soon, we may be looking at that synergy coming into play once again. Some localized versions of the PlayStation website already feature a new Days Of Play tab with some Astro artwork.

@twitchtvpat yeah should be massive, we know of venom, wolverine, and death stranding. Hopefully if the showcase happens they really start showing what a lot of these studios are working on.
@Americansamurai1 i just hope whatever they have planned doesn't get leaked and we actually get some nice surprises which is pretty rare these days because every one is so hell bent to not only leak it but to spoil it for every one.

@get2sammyb mine usually expires when there's a sale give or take a week either way 😁 so it's a tradition at this point.
