If, like us, you fell in love with the simple yet devilishly addictive Horizon Chase Turbo on PS4, you'll be delighted to know its sequel is fast on the approach. Horizon Chase 2 is confirmed to be coming to PS5 and PS4, and it's only two weeks away, launching on 30th May, 2024.
Much like the first game, Horizon Chase 2 is a colourful, stylised arcade racing game that's all about perfecting those squeaky clean lap times. The sequel features cross-platform multiplayer across all game modes, allowing for both cooperative and competitive racing. Cars are fully customisable, with lots of unlockable cosmetics and ways to increase a vehicle's stats in the World Tour mode.
As well as a robust campaign of races to conquer, the game will feature ongoing online events. Playground mode will feature limited time events that test your driving skills and there will be new rewards to earn with post-launch updates.
If it's anything like the first game, this should definitely be worth taking for a spin. Are you excited to play Horizon Chase 2? Hop into the comments section below.

Liked the game and the style, not so much the blatant ai cheating. You basically have to wait until the end of the race to take first place, as the computer goes slower when you are behind it but will catch up to you if you are first.
Looks way too fast and frantic for my liking. Lol
First one was great.
I'm not crazy about how it runs on the Switch. It crashes a lot and has a bug which makes all button images "RT." The bug has been around for months and no update has fixed it. If the PS port runs better, I might check it out.
Last one had terrible rubber banding. I hope they fixed that.
I loved the last game, but the sequel seems to be starved for support. Probably because Epic bought the developer and I guess put them to work on Fortnite’s racing mode or whatever. Such a shame, because the first game ran great and got tons of content updates. I might pick this up on sale just in hopes of having a version that runs smoothly.
@BeerIsAwesome get over it
Well that's tremendous. The first was retro infused goodyness.
About damn time!
@DestructionAllstars man you're always a ray of sunshine.
Didn't this have some silly online requirement?
