And monster hunter rise, damn. I guess I might have to give it a try after all then. But I’m sure I won’t like it as much as MHW.

To me it’s about revisiting franchises I love, just with the humorous Lego twist. I liked Jurassic world and Star Wars, it was a lot of fun playing those.
Since I like LotR, I might give Lego the hobbit a try as well.

Been wanting to play daxter.

Bloody Far Cry 4 but not 5. 4 was on it until a couple of months ago but 5 has been missing for ages. Crusader Kings is brilliant so hopefully more players means they put the effort in to release more of the DLC, we’re well behind PC by a few years now. Football Manager is cool too but the season’s over and the next game is going to be the big change.

Ghosthunter is a deep cut. Glad to see it.

Ffs - I just bought Monster Hunter Rise in the sale last week. Mind you it was with the expansion and I'm guessing this version doesn't have the dlc. I am hoping it don't otherwise thats 16.59 wasted

Serves me right, up until last week, I had stopped buying ps4 and ps5 games due to the backlog and the fact those on my wishlist ended up on plus in one way or another.

I will stick to buying ps3 games and build up my digital collection as the dvd drive is a little dodgy now after 14 years

Happy about Daxter though, just hope secret agent clank is next.

What is Ghosthunter? Never heard of that one.

@Frmknst A lot of LEGO games are alike, but the first one is DEFINITELY not the same as the last one. Even ignoring the pre-LEGO Star Wars time — and the non-Tt, or Tt adjacent, one offs (like 2k drive) — there's a variety of design motifs seen in select titles. LEGO Lord of the Rings and LEGO Batman 2 are quite alike, but rather unlike LEGO Indiana Jones or LEGO Batman (1). And the recent Skywalker Saga was a complete reinvention of the while formula.

To answer your question: because they're fun despite being repetitive as a series.

Holy s***, Football Manager, Crusader Kings and Anno is hundreds of hours of gaming for me. Those three alone will last me months.

Not much for me this month, but I'm happy to see Monster Hunter Rise as this means the player count will shoot up, so I will jump back in and hopefully complete the multiplayer part of the game.

That makes it official I guess: I’m currently playing my last PS Plus game (Days Gone) until my sub runs out July 4th. Didn’t expect anything interesting anyway in this drop, I think I added one game to my library in 2024.

Held out on Police Simulator as heard bad reviews but it’s my kind of leisure time jam.

Not a bad selection overall to be honest.

Seeing Daxter getting some love has me hoping that they'll give us Secret Agent Clank one day.

@Ken_Kaniff Ghosthunter is a PS2 action game from SCEE Cambridge, the creators of MediEvil and Primal, or more recently, as Guerilla Cambridge, before their closure, Killzone Mercenary for Vita and RIGS for PSVR.

Ghosthunter is a good game to check out if you like spooky stuff and action.

Kayak VR will include the new DLC for free.

It is good to see VR2 games on plus but it is not a good decision to include them on premium, it seems that they have already made the decision to always include those games on premium.

Very happy with Premium, though Extra is quite weak for headliners this month aside from Monster Hunter (I can't imagine most football manager players are on console).

Police Sim. One of those games I kinda want but would never actually pay for. 9/10 rated on Steam though, so let's see. Anno looks cool. Aaaand Ive somehow never played Far Cry 4. Good month.

Anno 1800 alone would be great for me. Been toying with buying it for months. Monster Hunter Rise and Crusader Kings 3 really are the cherry on top.

Blimey, I forgot about Ghosthunter's existence yet I'm pretty sure I had that game, but likely sold it as soon as I'd finished it.

Like someone else on here, that police game is also something i wouldn't want to risk money on but curious about it.

This month has nothing for me. Just finished revisiting Daxter like two weeks ago as part of my playthrough of the Jak series. Definitely worth playing or replaying.

Why do they never give us the ps2 versions of psp games

I'm really glad that Sony has finally started to put PSVR2 games on PS+. I was a little disappointed that they restricted it to Premium, but it's understandable. VR is for enthusiasts, and so is Premium. And the VR games also add to this tier's value, which has been a little iffy.

Kayak is the perfect Plus title, and it seems the VR game addition may become a regular thing. I was about to downgrade from Extra to Essential, but ended up going the opposite way and now they have me by the balls.

Good month. Games I want to play and see if I can get into but wouldn’t pay for. Namely Crusader Kings and Football Manager

I've tried many times to upgrade my service from Extra to Premium, but the PS store never lets me do so. I can buy games all day long, but never upgrade the service. There is always an error when I tried. So I've basically just given up on that and am happy with Premium.

Ghosthunter is an underrated PS2 gem just like Primal which also by SCE Studio Cambridge. I wonder if the game can be buy individually without PS+ extra / premium.

Excellent, another VR game which I haven't got, I really hope we get at least 1 VR game a month now, there are loads to chose from so keep em' coming Sony.

Good for PS5 users I guess. Becoming less good all the time for those of us without.

Now there's ps2 games being added as well I wouldn't mind seeing the likes of the getaway and the getaway 2 better yet remasters need doing of these 2
