Remedy wants fans to “join” it on 7th June, when Alan Wake 2’s first paid expansion Night Springs will presumably be announced as part of Summer Game Fest. We’ve known for quite some time that the inaugural DLC for the Finland-based studio’s critically acclaimed PS5 horror will be named after the franchise’s fictional television show, as a description revealed we’ll play as “several familiar characters from the world of Alan Wake and experience the unexplainable in multiple self-contained episodes”.
The add-on was previously due out in the spring, so it’s probably safe to anticipate it won’t be too far away once it’s fully revealed as part of host Geoff Keighley’s live show later this week.
Obviously, this is the first of two planned expansions, with The Lakehouse scheduled to follow. “The Lakehouse is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organisation to conduct secret research,” the official blurb teases. “Until something goes wrong.”

Hopefully with a physical release 🤞🏼
About time. I got the season pass so I've been waiting patiently for this
Bundle it and release it on disc.
If they do what we want - Disc version, it will be the strangest case - Whole game digital, the DLC physical
It's still spring in the Northern Hemisphere until 20th June, so if the DLC shadow drops (the most appropriate kind of drop for an Alan Wake game all about darkness I guess) tomorrow or they announced it is out in the next two weeks then they would still hit that spring release window, they've not missed it yet Sammy!
N.i.c.e. alan wake 2 is a excellent video game.word up son
I’ll be all over this when it releases. I got the platinum trophy for Alan Wake 2, and I’ve been in the mood to replay the game so this will give me the perfect excuse to jump in.
Heck yeah. Excited for this.
@Kraven same with me. Really enjoyed AW2 and platinum it. Excited for the dlc
GIVE ME MORE ALAN WAKE 2!!!!!
In Remedy, I trust!
Anyone sleeping on this game because it is Digital Only is really missing out on something special.
Pleasant surprise to read, loved the second game and more people need to play it.
