The latest physical sales chart for the UK is in, and interestingly we're seeing both ends of the spectrum this time. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Edition is off to a good start in second place, with only EA Sports FC 24 in front of it. However, also within the top 10 (just about) is Still Wakes the Deep, the horror adventure from developer The Chinese Room. The PS5 physical edition places 10th in its debut, but that's still a pretty good result when FromSoftware's RPG is back in our hearts and minds.
Elsewhere, the top 10 is pretty bog standard. Hogwarts Legacy moves up from sixth to third, while Nintendo fills out the mid-table with some popular exclusives. Lower down, we have the evergreen Grand Theft Auto V in seventh and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 at number nine. Meanwhile, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, which debuted at number one last week, has dropped to 28th.

Good to see Still wakes the deep is in there. Although this doesn't prove much until the digital sales go up, but its such a great game and I hope it continues to do well

Cracking game and I love The Chinese Room's products.
Alas I was a little concerned when I finished Friday night, and I was getting achievements that <2% of gamers had unlocked in some cases.
They seemed to be achievements that anyone would get just through playing, as I was not trying to get anything and just played normally.
I played via Gamepass though so there is going to be a very high percentage who just install it to try it out, without actually having an interest, and then bounce off it at 5 minutes in.
Expect PS5 had a far higher completion rate.
@CrashBandicoat yeah I would imagine so, or at least I'd hope so. I've actually gone back to Everybody's gone to the rapture as I'd never played that one. Also a fantastic game. I also love that you get different accents on their games. Not often you hear a Scottish accent that sounds authentic and not like a parody

@edwinjoe450 Saw dev on reddit say that more copies are supposed to go out to retailers this week. FWIW my Target order shipped yesterday.
