Vampire Survivors, the indie mega hit that was finally confirmed for PS5 and PS4 back in April, is still lacking a specific release date. Set for 'summer 2024', the game's been missing in action for a couple of months now, but developer Poncle has just provided a welcome update on matter.
As it turns out, the team's been slowed by PlayStation's certification process. "As we still don't have a release date to share, but wanted to let you know why," the studio writes on social media. "This is the first time we're going through submission processes on PlayStation so it's taking a little longer than usual," it explains. Hey, fair enough.
Poncle goes on to say that it's making sure Vampire Survivors' Trophy list is in working order ahead of launch: "We're also doing some trial and error on Trophies to ensure we get them right." For the record, the title will boast a Platinum Trophy, as was confirmed by the developer earlier in the year.
