Ps premium finally coming alive with Summoner, Jeanne d’arc and Rachet
Premium is starting to really outshine Extra. Hopefully all these classics get trophies.
hopefully the next batch of leaving soon won't be overwhelming
First month when I regret cancelling Premium/Extra last October! Crisis Core, Pathfinder and maybe Remnant are highlights for me.
Are PSP games downloadable and not streamed? Might give R&C Size Matters a whirl
@CWill97 all games that come to premium are downloadable, and outside a few at the very start of premium also available via a la carte purchases
Edit: excluding ps3 same as ps now at time
Actually most excited about Jackbox.
Can’t even pretend to be excited about this months offerings
I didn't even know Jeanne d'Arc was on a PS4/5, what a brilliant game, it's like Final Fantasy Tactics. Will be looking at that and FF: CC.
I remember watching the secret clip from Summoner were they are playing D&D over and over. "I Wana cast Magic Missle!" Had teenage me in tears
Nice not sure why decided to put Size Matters on there first over the first Ratchet and Clank though
Jeanne d'arc! Pls tell me you can buy the psp games for $10 like some of the ps1 games
Sony's finally stepped up their premium offerings.
@Judal27 yeah you can
Another psvr2 game in job simulator! Never got it on PSVR1 as it had room scale requirements and I didn’t have the space back then, but looking forward to trying it now.
Jeanne de arc also looks brilliant. Had a vita but no psp games as they lacked the entire trophy challenge metagame, so hopefully trophy challenges get added to this.
Jeanne! Now that's something. Considering it's an American release stuck on PSP, this is golden
@Czar_Khastik also on vita but yeah it will be great to have on modern console
Crisis Core(Beat the PSP Version), Pathfinder and Bannerlord(Huge Time Sinks but great games) are games I've wanted to try for ages/play again(Crisis Core).
Remnant and No More Heroes I might give a shot. This is actually a good month for Extra and Premium it seems.
Don't see why people always have to complain. Unless you don't like RPG's their are some good games this month. Good games in general.
@Americansamurai1 I am gonna cry tears of joy
@themightyant It's not, this is a new emulation coming to premium. This is it's announcement - it's coming to premium on day 1 like Sony's other recent PSP emulated re-releases.
This is an insane lineup this month! Wow! Jeanne d'Arc!
@get2sammyb Yeah, I'm honestly very pleased with this month. Looking forward to Jeanne d'Arc, Ratchet and Bannerlord. I just hope Ratchet has right analogue control as well, that would be a huge bonus.
Jeanne d'arc is an amazing tactics style game
@Dragoon1994 They've only just got the PS2 emulation going so they likely have a much more streamlined process for the PSP games, so it would probably be a case of artificially delaying Size matters to have them come out in sequential order, which would be silly - especially given that Size Matters is more of a spin-off/side game.
They also have a lot less 1st/2nd party PSP games left to release and they're trying to get new ones out every month. Ratchet is a clear crowd pleaser.
Wow Jeanne D'arc is a stonecold classic
@Rmg0731 awesome! I’ve downloaded plenty of the PS1 games but haven’t looked at any PSP. Just was super disappointed when I tried to stream GoW. It lagged so badly that my button inputs were never fully registering during the “button mash” sections. Glad that PSP games aren’t streaming
@ChrisDeku One of the best Level-5 games!
@AK4tywill Thank you for the information, much appreciated, thought I had missed it somehow.
Stoked to finally be able to play Ratchet Size Matters…The only Ratchet game I have never finished. Also I look looking forward to playing through FF Crisis Core again…lent my copy to my Nephew who subsequently moved to work in the US….never lend your games out children…they never return!
@CWill97 yeah ive tried streaming and it just doesnt feel great even if its been improved in recent years. But you should have the same rewind feature, instant save ability etc as with the ps1 other psp, and sly for ps2
Size Matters is absolutely f**king abysmal. Played it a month or two ago. Dreadful.
@Pedski It's a huge month for amazing PSP games. (I know Crisis Core is a remaster, but it's still a PSP game at heart!)
Of course I just bought Crisis Core on sale last month. 😆
Ah well, ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.
At least I got it on disc so can recoup through reselling it.
Wait, Jeanne D'Arc?!
I hope i can buy it without sub to premium because i lost my UMD copy along with my PSP slim years ago 😭. And right now my local retro game stores selling a mint copy around $100+ which is nuts.
Saw the word crisis and thought it said Time Crisis!!! Man I would love for that game to comeback.
Jeanne D’Arc is a dream come true! I’ll definitely be playing that ASAP. Now on the PSP front, we just need Trails in the Sky.
I remember my brother picking up Summoner back in the early days of the PS2 and always remember it looking awful for the time with overly long loading times. I would actually probably get into it more these days now my tastes in games have broadened. For those who don't know it was also made by Volition who went on to make the Saints Row series.
Steep is good fun for anyone who hasn't tried it
I’ve been planning on playing summoner for the last 23 years so maybe it might finally happen.
I’ve also been thinking that I should finish Jeanne d’Arc for the last 16 years so I might finally beat some gaming guilt this month.
@Kraven Knowing Falcom they would much rather make you wait on a potential remaster. But other than that they can at least give us the Gagharv Trilogy as it would be both great to play those games again and to introduce trails fans to the older games in series.
It's awesome that another PSVR2 game has made it into Premium, so I won't complain it's Job Simulator.
If they keep adding VR games monthly, they'll have me captive. PS+ is the perfect vessel for VR titles, since they're harder to assess without trying.
And the proof is I've just become addicted to Walkabout, a game I had never considered buying.
I already have most of those. And the PSP games I can play in my Vita. So nothing of value for me.
@Rmg0731 yah the rewind feature is so cool. Absolutely love it. I just wish they’d figure out how to let us download the PS3 games. I have no clue the issues/complexities with it. But I’d love to be able to play the PS3 games because I actually skipped that Gen
Ps premium looking good 👍
Never played Jeanne D'arc when it first came out. Time to try it lol
RATCHET: SIZE MATTERS!!! ❤️🥲 I can die happy now.
That reminds me that my Essential subscription isn't holding out long anymore and I'm still not in the mood to pay the fu..... 72€ for another year.
@SuperSilverback I watched that over and over again.
Pleasantly surprised to see Summoner on the list!
@Dragoon1994 because size matters
Good list, I think these are good additions. Just as well as I thought the PS plus freebies this month were awful, so this is balanced and I'm happier with this selection now we can see the total offering for this month..
Shame I bought Crisis Core last month, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles! If you are a FF fan, just dive in, its great.
Jean D'arc was great on the PSP, and so was Ratchet. Happy to be in premium..
Got R&C: Size Matters on the PSP (& Vita with mapped right stick!)
Only other one of interest to me is Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous but again, I've already got it.
Remnant 2, Crisis Core, Pathfinder, Summoner, Jeanne d'Arc and another PSVR2 game, these are some very nice additions which I will have no time to play.. Great month I just need to stop replaying old games.
@Th3solution I immediately thought of you buying Crisis Core not long ago when I saw it was being added! 😂
@itsfoz
Same but if they did they would have to do a light gun for PS.
Quite surprised they haven’t done one yet to make the house of the dead remake better
@JohnnyShoulder Lol, any requests for next month’s PS+ games? I’m headed to GameStop later today.
@Th3solution Lies of P or Wild Hearts please! Or though I do think that the former game will come over when ever the gamepass deal for it ends
@JohnnyShoulder I’ll see what I can conjure. 😉
