The next major Honkai: Star Rail update is coming 31st July, and it’s taking the Trailblazer back to the Xianzhou Luofu. Yeah, we know, we didn’t like the story much there either – but there’s an opportunity to start afresh here, as the Wardance Ceremony gets underway. This storyline is set to span two full updates, so you better get used to the idea of spending quite a lot of time on the Chinese-themed airship.
“The Wardance festival commemorates the Reighbow Arbiter and the Cloud Knight's victory against the Abominations of Abundance,” the press release teases. “This year's Wardance aims to uplift the spirits of Luofu residents after the recent crisis and arrives as an invitation to allies and friends in a gesture of peace and hospitality.”

Two new 5-star characters will be introduced as part of the update: a Physical-type Destruction character named Yunli, and Jiaoqiu, who’s a Fire-type Nihility hero. The latter tandems nicely with Acheron, as he uses his Ashen Roast debuff to inflict enemies with burn damage, which can be stacked over time.
Perhaps most exciting of all, though, March 7th will be getting her new sword-wielder makeover. Available for free through story progression, this new Hunt path for the Astral Express member will see her offering her allies boba, which will increase their speed and adjust her style depending on who you partner her with. A new event, with manga-style comic panels, will allow you to earn her Eidolons.
Elsewhere, a new event will see you engaging in a Pokémon Snap-style minigame where you need to photograph trash cans in an on-rails type environment. Another combat event will see you recruiting trash cans to your cause, with abilities inspired by the characters in your party. And there’ll be the usual offering of free pulls and multiplied materials.
We should also mention that a new environment on the Xianzhou Luofu will be unlocked as part of the storyline, with The Shackling Prison playing host to a brand new batch of wolf-type enemies. There’s lots to look forward to in Honkai: Star Rail, then, even if this does feel like something of a filler update for now.

Suck toes or die trying
I MUCH preferred the story on the Xianzhou Luofu to the nonsense word-salad on Penacony, so happy to return there. And with more Foxian's incoming perhaps we will finally find out what happened to Tingyun.
Also interesting we are getting March 7th for free but didn't get DHIL. I wonder if Welt and Himeko will also get upgrades eventually.
@themightyant I mean, Xianzhou Luofu was also word salad to be fair.
March 7th is 4-Star, so I guess that's why we're getting her for free.

Those sure were a lot of words I don't understand.
All I know is those characters have some massive Honkais. I mean honkers. That's all I get when I see the name.
Same with Nongshim Impact. I mean Gangnam Impact....damn kids these days.
And the latest in the....anime cinematic universe has the hashtag of zzz which... Yeah I do need sleep.
And what about that Wuthering Heights? Is that the same people or is this the new gaming trend along with brown samurai action games?

@Haruki_NLI Wuthering Heights (lol) is a different developer but basically identical to all the above. Haha.
@Hi569 they’re literally chinese drawings. They look like any other anime character, mostly ageless unless made specifically obvious
And they are all voiced by adults, what you on about
The update is actually coming 31 July, not 31 August like it's being said here
@Waitinonpsvr2
Into what? Anime? If anything Honkai is really tame when it comes to the stuff you're probably referring to.
@Carck
Okay let’s be real here, you can like something without defending everything, there is a very obvious visual choice made.
they draw younger characters in certain ways (Height being one of them).
Stating characters are voiced by adults is a terrible come back, children cartoon characters are voiced by (mostly female)adults too (probably Tara strong 😂), but in cases like this they make them sound super young it’s odd.
And also let’s not get it twisted, anime has a weird side when it comes to depiction of characters.
Like having child like proportioned characters being 1000 years old couch fire emblem is an example.
OR being over sexualised and they are still High school
Again like what you like but this isn’t the mountain to take the high ground on haha
@Hi569 yes. to the top of the fbi watch list they go
@Waitinonpsvr2
Let's add people that like shooters, gorey games, horror games and violent games in general to that list because they're obviously plotting something.
@ATaco lol. now your just being ridiculous. i trust more people into shooters then if you go to your buddys house and hes like heyyyy bro do u like feet...
It’s not an airship so much as a world ship.
@Waitinonpsvr2
I mean of course you do because we've glorified violence in the west. It's more natural to watch dudes being blown into bloody chunks than it is to see a naked foot, oh ye gods! Blasphemy!!
@Hi569 These voices are not my thing also the fascination with young girl is also somewhat weird.
@ATaco Bo issues with feet if people are into them but if you do this go with more adult looking characters. 😝
@ATaco yoooooo taco loves him some feet. lol. its ok taco. the first step is to admit it
@Waitinonpsvr2
And this is what it devolves to.
@ATaco lol
I was so ready to get flabbergasted because I just kept thinking boba fett made it into honkai. Im gonna need reading glasses when I’m 50.
@Nalodart i 100% disagree with you. The fact that you look at generic anime characters and see sexualised little girls is very concerning.
I’m not defending anything, couldn’t care less, but what you’re saying sounds VERY weird and i wish you won’t reply to me ever again, please
@Carck
The fact that you overly simplified what I said ( I was giving EXAMPLES to anime in general MHA for example and I was trying to give understanding between people in the comment section… tall order I know) proves that you are being overly defensive and are missing my point.
Feel free to read my earlier message again in your own time.
I won’t reply to you after this don’t worry 😂
(Also who said I see every generic anime character and see little girls?! It’s the ones they purposely design to have a more child appearance which was my whole point which you chose to miss…Did you not read my comment right? Seriously read it again)
@Carck to ignore the noncery of it all is silly.
I appreciate knowing the foot fetish community is getting some more love in video games and Japanese culture in general (especially wrestling). But we don’t need to be associated with children, let’s take that down a notch game devs. 🙏
@EchoRange i’d agree, but the characters on the screenshots here aren’t sexualised and don’t look like little girls at all, so I’m not sure where the sentiment is coming from. From a picture of a foot? Other dude felt really creepy on his comment
That Mitsuki is really cute, it's a shame she's only 4stars
@jrt87 it's more the kid thing
@jrt87
It is rather weird that their immediate reaction is to sexualize the non sexual and then turn around and point fingers at everyone else as if they're being the weird ones. Odds are that none of these people even saw the trailer and are just kneejerk reacting to anything anime.
@Zeroo Whoops! That's totally my error. Fixed, and thanks for the correction!
