Talented Korean studio Shift Up’s new Stellar Blade update brings big vacation vibes, as it adds a new temporary area to the Great Desert where protagonist Eve can take a well-earned break. The sun-kissed structural instalment includes some much-needed umbrellas, robot butlers, and a couple of beach balls – there are even sun loungers to relax on, but beware the 3,000kg mutated fish in the water nearby.
The developer has also added a new upbeat song which plays while you’re taking a break, and much like the rest of the game’s soundtrack, it’s a real bop.
There’s no new gameplay in this area, but Eve can take a rest on the sun loungers, and there are new animations as she settles down and stands up. You’ll also find two new outfits, the Wave Diver Bikini and the Wave Oblique Monokini, in Clyde’s store – as well as the Polarized Sunglasses. All three can be purchased using Fishing Score.
