Surprise! The highly acclaimed roguelike deckbuilder, Monster Train, has reached its final platform; it's now available on PS5. Already released on basically everything else, the game can now be bought and played on Sony's current-gen console. Marking the occasion is the trailer above.

For those who don't know, Monster Train is a game in a similar vein to Slay the Spire, in which you gradually build a deck of cards, battle hordes of enemies, and power them up in between combat encounters. There are a few ways this title differentiates itself, not least of which is that combat takes place across the multiple floors of the titular train; where you place your monsters and how they're positioned plays an important role in the strategy.

Monster Train on PS5 is the First Class edition, meaning it includes the base game as well as the Last Divinity DLC.
