An eye-watering 4,500 gigantic PS5 and PS4 games and add-ons are now on sale on the PS Store as part of Sony’s mind-bogglingly big summer sale. Discounts run up to an enormous 80 per cent off, and span major titles like Elden Ring (£34.99/$41.99) and Hogwarts Legacy (£25.99/$27.99).
Here are some of the highlights:
- Alan Wake 2: £32.49/$38.99
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: £34.99/$34.99
- Lies of P: £29.99/$35.99
- NBA 2K24: £6.99/$6.99
- Resident Evil 4: £26.24
- Sea of Thieves: £27.99/$29.99
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League: £20.99/$20.99
- The Crew Motorfest: £23.99/$27.99
- TopSpin 2K25: £44.99/$44.99
Honestly, we could go on and on with the offers – excluding first-party, practically every major PS5 and PS4 game from the past few years is on sale here. As alluded to earlier, you can also snag some DLC on the cheap as well.
As always, we’d recommend you take a look at the PS Store for the full list of offers, but do check back and let us know what you’re buying in the comments section below.

Wow some good prices there for sure
Nothing for me unfortunately. Was holding out hope for maybe 25% off Stellar Blade, oh well. Prince of Persia not back on sale either and WWE is only the Deluxe Edition. Hope others can find something interesting.
Over 4500 massive games. What's a massive PS5/PS4 game? Is this an exclusive sale of games with over 100GB of data, or something? There can't be 4500 games that are massive in any other regard that I can think of.
Isn't the Crew Motorfest £27.99?
@TedLassoNikes The PS4 only version is £23.99 where PS4/PS5 version is £27.99.
@riceNpea The article heading is just bad use of grammar. The massive part refers to 4500 games - massive sale with over 4500 games it should have said.
These regular Wednesday announcements for price reductions show what I regard the normal prices I am willing to spend for digital games. Only very few of them are usually really remarkable.
@Haggis555 @riceNpea I actually meant "massive" in terms of "they're big, well known games".
I've saved so much money in the last couple of years since I stopped engaging with these sales and needlessly adding games to my backlog. These days I buy a game when I'm going to play it, and if it's on sale then that's great timing. Sony knows what its doing when it comes to separating you from your money, I swear. (:
Koi Koi: Love Blossoms finally on sale. Not quite at the right price for me yet though.
@Haggis555 "massive sale with over 4500 games it should have said"
Massive would be redundant then. It'd be like saying "a tall 6' 3" man".
@get2sammyb 4500 are that?! You're right, I can't wait to buy Bluey: The Video Game! It's all my friends talk about 😆👍👍
@riceNpea You're right, I should have said '200 Games You May Have Heard Of And 4,300 You Probably Don't Give A Crap About' instead. 🙄
So, with exception of couple of games, it will the same games that are on sale for same sale prices every other week?
Bought Stilt (VR2) which at £1.59 has a massive (word of the day) 90% off, Shirley a misprice.
@get2sammyb spot on! That's exactly what the sale is! 😊
I do love how the recent Resi games frequently plummet in price during sales — they're well worth a punt
Slightly off topic but if anyone was thinking about getting Suicide Squad at that price and they own a PC, it’s currently free via Amazon Prime.
A few other decent games going free on there for next few days too.
I'm tempted to grab Metro Exodus, Bloodstained: Cursed of the Moon 2, Dragon Blaze, Ikaruga, and Tengai. They all pretty cheap. But i also want Jeanne D'Arc and Kunitsu Gami.
A lot of interesting games but i don't have enough time and money for them. sigh...
Edit:
In the end i decided to get only Dragon Blaze, like 3-4 bucks which i had a lot of fun despite the game kicking my ass at Normal diff.
I just got Suicide Squad free from Amazon Gaming and I will probably still never play it.
@riceNpea I bet you're a lot of fun at parties 🙄
Nothing really major I want but might get Hi-Fi Rush even though it’s already been on sale frequently since launch.
I finally have the time to play it.
@CaptD cheers for the tip. Just bought it, too.
@CaptD Don’t call me Shirley.
@naruball
Also bought Towers n Powers with 90% at £1.39.
It is a VR tower defence game similar to PixelJunk Monsters.
@tangyzesty I bet you're good at thinking of adjectives that aren't piquant-related 🤔
I wonder if Sony will start doing big PS5 hardware discounts from late July again like they did last year.
@get2sammyb Lol this is exactly what these sales are about.
@get2sammyb Or just “Massive games included in new sale”. I agree the titles on PushSquare are a bit too much sometimes. I really appreciate the articles though, so no biggy.
2 way to save money on Suicide Squad
1) Don't buy it at all or
2) It's free for the Epic store if you own Amazon Prime Gaming
That way you'll never feel you lost your monies worth with either just your own time
Bought Oxenfree 2 and Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo.
@riceNpea Have you scrolled all the way to the bottom of these sales? Bluey is AAA goodness compared to most of that stuff
@CaptD oh, man. I think I bought that for over 10 quid a few months ago, though never got around playing it.
@lechugajr and every single one of them is 'massive' 😆😉
@riceNpea yeah the massive games might be set on a bargain price, but they don't tell you that if you want more than one you're going to have to go to the hardware store and purchase a wheelbarrow just to carry these games around because they are so massive and enormous and popular among all gamers. So really you need to take the sale price and combine it with the price of a good sturdy wheelbarrow to get a more realistic look what you're going to be spending during this particular sale.
@AfroMario 😆 thanks, I knew there had to be a reason!
