Activision has shown off a decent chunk of gameplay from its upcoming FPS, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Focusing solely on the campaign in this year's entry, the six-minute video takes us through the highlights of a single mission, 'Most Wanted', and it looks like a raucous good time.
It all goes a bit Hitman to start with; playing as an operative known as Case, you infiltrate a political fundraiser in Washington, DC, and must make your way inside a secret black site to rescue a member of your team, Adler. Before that, though, you go undercover as a member of the press, rubbing shoulders with the crowd and tracking down targets with a camera. It certainly has some of the feel of IO Interactive's series.
Once retinal data is secured, you're able to enter the black site and save Adler, but then you'll have to make your escape — and that's when things fall into the more typical Call of Duty bombast. It seems like the devs are at least trying to change up the formula with some interesting ideas here, so hopefully the campaign can keep it up.
Black Ops 6 releases on PS5 and PS4 on 25th October. What do you think of this gameplay? Tell us in the comments section below.

Call of Duty was always a love letter to the gaming community and this entry is no different
Faces look very last gen up close, feels like below 30fps in many segments, and an armored mini-gun miniboss again… meh for me
Think It's About Time Call Of Duty Needs To Go
It looks so very dated, both gameplay wise and graphically. This is a series that prints money, has a budget that most games would be lucky to see a tenth of, and it looks like a mid-gen PS4 game.
