Epic Mickey was a highly anticipated title on Nintendo Wii, but it could never quite live up to its pre-release concept art. Incredibly, it’s been almost 15 years since the title first debuted, however, and thus there’s been ample time for nostalgia to build around this classic platformer. It feels like the right time for Epic Mickey Rebrushed on PS5 and PS4, then.

In addition to completely revamped visuals, this game will also feature gyro controls on Sony’s systems, repurposing the motion controls from the original release. There’ll also be a Photo Mode, allowing you to capture the stunning scenery from the release. Honestly, we’re rather looking forward to revisiting this one, removed from the original’s unattainable hype.

It’s the latest in a long line of titles to offer Early Access for those who pre-order, so you can play 24 hours early if you cough up now.
