Lost in Random, the cult hit, Tim Burton-style action adventure, is getting a sequel. Named Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, it's being developed by Thunderful (which studio Zoink Games is now a part of) and is coming to PS5 sometime in 2025. Interestingly, the sequel explores a new genre, putting the realm of Random within a rogue-lite structure.

Playing as the Queen of Random, who's been trapped inside the titular Eternal Die, you'll be exploring new randomly generated realms alongside her companion die, Fortune. Your task is to escape from the Eternal Die, battling through each tabletop and board game-inspired environment, and earning upgrades to improve your chances. It's played from a top-down perspective, clearly inspired by the likes of Hades but retaining the cartoonish, gothic look of the first game.

It actually makes a lot of thematic sense to introduce rogue-lite elements to this series, which is set in a world governed by chance and probability. We're intrigued to see how this plays out and how it evolves the world of Lost in Random when it arrives next year.
