For the most part, Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis is going to be a one-to-one remake of the original Persona 3 FES epilogue, but that doesn't mean Atlus can't have fun with optional boss battles. As the DLC's new trailer reveals, you'll be able to test your might against the one and only Joker — Persona 5's daring protagonist.
In the short teaser, we see Joker summon the all-powerful Satanael, which goes on to unleash a particularly devastating attack against Aigis and the party. It'll be interesting to see just how brutal Joker's challenge is.
This isn't the first time that optional bosses from other Persona titles have made their way into the series' latest release. Persona 5 Royal itself offered up fights against Persona 3 and Persona 4's heroes, which were a lot of fun — especially at later levels.

Very cool. Would have been even better as an actual surprise. Unfortunately the Atlus sales and marketing team got ahold of it. And then Push Square of course spoils it pretending they’re not spoiling it with the headline ad “you won’t see this coming” and the thumbnail absolutely showing you the entire spoiler. No words.
