Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is right around the corner on PS5 and PS4, and the excitement around the game feels fairly muted. However, the devs may have just sealed the deal, and all it took was one brilliant Easter egg. PS1 Hagrid, otherwise known as Haggord or simply Meme Hagrid, will be represented in the multiplayer sports title.

Yes, the low-poly Hagrid model from PS1's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which became a pretty widespread meme online, will feature in the upcoming game. Fans will be able to equip a paper mask on their Quidditch player that gives them the appearance of the iconic PS1 character model.

We love this — it's a harmless and funny inclusion that we'll certainly be using as soon as possible. It's not the only Easter egg in the game, either; Wizarding World has shared a number of other references to the films and books, including the first ever appearances for the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang wizarding schools.
