Virtual reality specialist nDreams has announced its next project, and it reminds us very strongly of Superhot. Developed by Meat Space Interactive, the game is called Vendetta Forever, and it's coming to PSVR2 in October 2024.
Inspired by cult action movies, Vendetta Forever is a stylish action game in which you must kill enemies to move. With a myriad of ways to murder your foes, killing one of them allows you to move to their position and equip their weapon so you can continue the rampage. It's a system the game calls "Lo-kill-motion", which we can certainly get behind as fans of laboured wordplay.
Each level (of which there are over 60) contains collectibles to discover and leaderboards to conquer, and there are modifiers on top of that which will change things up. There seems to be a decent variety in the stages too, with Western standoffs and rooftop shootouts among other themes.
This one shows a lot of promise — hopefully it can deliver when it arrives later this year. What do you think of Vendetta Forever? Tell us in the comments section below.

@WhiteRabbit I was just about to say the same thing! Has the undeserved hate train finally come to a halt?
This looks awesome by the way 😀
But PSVR2 has no games? 🤣
Seriously though, this looks brilliant. Will definitely pick this up.
There’s a remake of Arizona Sunshine 1 coming Oct 17th too. Haven’t seen it reported anywhere, but it popped on my feed this morning
Credit should be given to Meatspace interactive .......who I believe is a solo developer. They started to make a game "Bang Bang Slice" (you can get it from itch.com ) for the Quest......it looked a bit simplistic but it had the gameplay
After a few updates it was removed from the applabstore for unknown reasons.
We now know the reason......its been given a face lift, a name change, gained a publisher, become multiplatform.
I cant wait for this (Ill be playing the demo later)
Prepare yourself for a tough arcade style challenge where your going to have to make through gauntlets of enemies (with that one more go feeling....like superhot mixed with hotline miami)
definitely going to be looking for this one when it drops for the VR2
I can't tell if it looks more Superhot, or more Tiger Blade, but this looks promising!
The trailer looks top level VR fun, another day one for me.
@WhiteRabbit i love it about time.
This was definitely my highlight of the VR Games Showcase. Synapse is one of my favorite PSVR2 games, so nDreams has my trust.
It does remind Superhot, but I was also reminded of Deathloop.
Now all that's left is for Pushsquare to add it to its long list of upcoming games for VR2.
