Sony Makes a Fashion Statement with Japanese Streetwear Collection 1

Today we learned Japanese streetwear brand SOPH created an imaginary football team named FC Real Bristol [Seriously – Ed] as a means to flog pricey threads. It’s since partnered with PlayStation to bring gaming’s most iconic format into the fold. As part of a new collection, you can pick up training gear, retro kits, and jackets all bearing the brand.

Sony’s been particularly hip of late, partnering with all kinds of major manufacturers, like Puma, to inject PlayStation into a variety of different clothing collections. You can buy these new SOPH items online or in the high street, although be warned that a lot of the $180 shirts have already sold out at the time of writing.

If you’d rather pick up something a little more affordable and available, UK clothing brand Insert Coin also announced a new PlayStation jacket this week. That’ll cost you about $100 and is scheduled to ship in September, with pre-orders open now. And, if you prefer sneakers, there are rumours of a new Nike collaboration set to be released in 2025.
