Today we learned Japanese streetwear brand SOPH created an imaginary football team named FC Real Bristol [Seriously – Ed] as a means to flog pricey threads. It’s since partnered with PlayStation to bring gaming’s most iconic format into the fold. As part of a new collection, you can pick up training gear, retro kits, and jackets all bearing the brand.
Sony’s been particularly hip of late, partnering with all kinds of major manufacturers, like Puma, to inject PlayStation into a variety of different clothing collections. You can buy these new SOPH items online or in the high street, although be warned that a lot of the $180 shirts have already sold out at the time of writing.
If you’d rather pick up something a little more affordable and available, UK clothing brand Insert Coin also announced a new PlayStation jacket this week. That’ll cost you about $100 and is scheduled to ship in September, with pre-orders open now. And, if you prefer sneakers, there are rumours of a new Nike collaboration set to be released in 2025.

They cost more than real football jerseys based on real teams.
Waiting for them to release the PES United team jerseys with names Minanda and Castolo
Nothing will top that Dreamcast Arsenal shirt. Definitely miss those kinda sponsors rather than banned in the UK betting/crypto companies or slightly menacing ‘Visit (country that would stone me to death)’ sponsors.
@nessisonett Stolen shamelessly from Time Extension:
I prefer the Auxerre PlayStation 2 kit
@Czar_Khastik it that happened before Konami gets of their arses and give us Master League in eFootball it would ease the frustration.
I wish playstation would sponsor a team in London. And I'd probably buy those kits.
I used to have PlayStation sponsored shirts in the old PES games when you could create your own kits. Also Kinder eggs.
@CutchuSlow yeah but I guess they'd rather advertise during the Champions League instead
Good to see some love for Real Bristol. We're gonna do it this year lads!
@ApostateMage same. Used to make loads of nice kits.
Arsenal shirts such as the mouldy banana coloured one or the new lynx africa away strip 🤣🤣
Also "sneakers??" Isnt this a UK based site??
Concord strips wont sell, already packed up and off to unicef.
As much as i enjoyed football, i'm not gonna spend $100-180 for a fricking jersey of a fake football team.
Better than it saying Emirates and promoting all their theocratic BS.
I had a quick look at whats on sale and they have a black jacket I like. How can I get that in the UK?
