Remake will come one day, but for now I'd settle for a 60FPS patch on PS5.

Hmmm. Maybe Sony hired him to start a guerilla marketing campaign that ends with a bloodborne remaster & bloodborne 2 announcement? That must be it? I can't believe we're getting a new bloodborne its finally happening!!

First of all, as Snoop Dogg would say "who?"
Second, you are more likely to get a Concord / Bloodborne crossover before a PS5 port.

Full remake doesn’t even feel worth it for me. 60FPS sure, could do with it. A sequel’s probably a more interesting prospect. But then I’m not the biggest fan of the base game anyway, Old Hunters is brilliant though.

At some time in the past, Bloodborne really PO’d some exec at Sony. Maybe with the surge of ER lovers we’ll get a proper Bloodborne on something.

Definitely would consider a replay if they release a remaster, even though I still have 2 From Souls games left to play (3 if you count Sekiro)

We are never going to get a remake or a remaster. Who are we kidding? They can't even be arsed to release a patch enabling 60fps FFS. It's depressing.

I do not understand how a prequel or sequel has not been made yet. The hype would be off the charts and would sell 10M copies, easily.

Neah... Sony's gonna sit on the Remake for a while longer, and use it eventually to promote a console, most likely PS6.
Just like they did with Demon's Souls for PS5.
And most likely, there's not gonna be any PC version.
Those are the only two From Software/Miyazaki made/directed IP's they actually own, so they're not available for sharing or for casual launches.

The game is dated now.. Just remake it or make a sequel at this point.

Fromsoft don't tend to retread so it would be another blueprint style situation if it were remade, but a sequel would be dope.

Fromsoft have barely improved their engine since 2009 and love re-skining assets and reusing animations alongside using the same dated and cumbersome UI across their soulslike games so it's completely doable to bust out a sequel.

This game got me into Souls games. I flaked on the original Demons Souls, but Bloodborne won me back. Such an awesomely bizarre world, with extreme weirdness around every corner. Miyazaki will get in trouble? What the hell? It’s like they don’t want the money! Is NoClip still around? We need Danny to do a deep dive into why there was no sequel, let alone a remaster. Got to be some weird rights issue or internal politics, or maybe Sony just doesn’t like money. Makes me so maaaad!😂

Ps5 maybe. If it ever goes pc, bloodbourne 2 is imminent.

I really don't feel like we need to remaster this and slap a 70 quid price tag on it. The original game still holds up, just patch us in 60fps and happy days, as they say

@Nepp67 I only agree when it comes to the story. But from a gameplay, atmosphere, and world building/design standpoint, there's never enough bloodborne lol

I feel like a full on remake would loose the ecstatic of what makes blood borne look so iconic, but like what other people have said a 60FPS patch would be the way to go

Honestly, I think the game still looks fantastic. All we really need is 60fps. The combat is so dependent on quick reflexes, it would be a gamechanger to play at 60. No remake, no remaster needed—just patch that framerate for PS5!

I'm so tired of this. From seem really happy making new IP. Sony don't seem interested. Let it rest. I also think Bloodborne never needed a sequel. Dark Souls 2 and 3 weren't great and 3 especially relied on fan service.

You can't on one hand scream for new games while also begging like children for an old game to be remade/remastered.

But Jeff Grubb has told us Bloodborne remake will release in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023,2024... soon he will say 2025, just you wait. All this according to Push Square that spreads his lies as facts... I'm starting to loose hope on this, sell Bungie and use the money to make Bloodborne Remake and Bloodborne II, and make a new Astrobot for PSVR2, that would make me happy, not all these BB rumours, Bungie drama or live service crap, Sony is soo lost at the moment. And where is Days Gone II??!!

made, game can definetly stand on its own legs.

Absolutely on the cards, another Bluepoint special - likely to tie in also with the forthcoming movie/TV tie-in… in typical Sony fashion!

As much as a 60FPS patch and up-scale would be great, I’d rather the resources were ploughed into a full scale remake- imagine how awesome it’ll be as a PS6 poster child!

Good on Kai though for using his platform to spread awareness. I’m certainly not his target demographic, nor am I fully aware of what he does, but I understand he has significant reach via social platforms…. And anyone that preaches BB is OK by me!

Sony should be publicly flogged at this point for abandoning the IP. There, I said it. I say we storm their headquarters, find whoever is complacent in this tragedy, strip them naked and gently flog them peacefully in front of CNN.

That would absolutely print money, especially if Elden Ring was referenced in the marketing material.

I mean, Bloodborne sold 7.46 million copies as of February 2022. But Sony doesn't do much with the IP after the expansion released back in November 2015, outside they let Dark Horse created a couple of comic books which was pretty solid, a board games, and Nendoroid / Figma figures for The Hunter and The Doll.

Well at least Sony doesn't take down a PS1 demake and kart game created by fans. Maybe Sony has some plans with the IP but again who knows what the new SIE president and CEO thinks about the IP...

If I was a betting man, I'd say a remaster is coming next year for the 10th anniversary. Maybe announced at the end of this year.
