The First Berserker: Khazan has always looked pretty great, and it continues to do so in this latest gameplay trailer. Nexon's action RPG, set within the DNF franchise, also now has a rough release window of early 2025, when it'll release on PS5.
The game sports a cel-shaded look, which allows for all kinds of flashy effects to go off while you hack your way through enemies and bosses. It has a lot of style, and the combat itself looks as though it'll be very tight. We also get to hear the unmistakable tones of Ben Starr voicing the lead character.
Additionally, it's been revealed the game will have a closed beta test later this year. You can sign up here, and if you get in, you'll be able to play between 11th and 20th October 2024.

Gameplay looks interesting. Signed up for the beta.
Last trailer made the enemies all look so spongey, I'm not sure how well it's going to play (or how fun it'll actually be), despite the nice look of the cel-shaded graphics. Some very empty looking scenery, too.
Looks cool...also makes me desire a Remake of Asura's Wrath from Capcom even more.
Finally Cel shaded graphics are soooooooooooooo underrated these days.
I am getting a bit fed up of this style of game. It just feels like there is nothing new anymore.
It looks like another Nioh-like. Plus I'm really tired of Ben Starrs lack of range as a VA. It seems he's become the go to angry British VA. Hope he doesn't get pigeonholed and is given a more interesting job in the future.
Signed up to the beta last night, really looking forward to this.
Ben Starr? I'm sold.
The atmosphere of this game is pretty incredible, I'm excited to give this game a play! I have signed up for the beta, I hope that I can get in.
@breakneck I watched the interview with the devs playing this and it looks more like a DMC game than a nioh and incidently they stated they were aiming to create a DMC style game.
Another game I'm eagerly waiting for. Looks awesome.
@Northern_munkey if it is like that than I'm definitely in. But the trailer really gave me Nioh vibes. I like Souls-likes but I'm burned out on the type of game overall.
