Acclaimed Action RPG NieR Automata Invades Stellar Blade in PS5 DLC

Still need to get Stellar Blade. Hopefully it will get a decent discount on Black Friday. I feel like the only person in existence sometimes that didn't enjoy nier automata, so if I do pick up SB, would probably give the dlc a miss

Lol stellar blade finally became automata as it always wanted to be. That's actually pretty awesome in it's own way though. if Nintendo owned automata they'd have sued them for violating patients on methods of animating jiggle in playable characters. But square actually approved a crossover instead. Props to square.

@Rob_230 That is correct. You are the first person I have ever heard of that didn't like Nier: Automata. I'm assuming you got Ending E before you drew that conclusion?

I literally unlocked the last outfit yesterday (took me 4 playthroughs, no guides). Gonna be a good time messing around in photo mode. And that NieR Automata DLC cant come soon enough. Last thing this game needs is freeroam after having beaten the game.

@B_Lindz yep 100 % completed it with all endings and got the platinum. Just one of those games that didn't click for me. Which surprised me tbh. Thought I'd be really into it.

Glad i held out for photomode for my 3rd playthrough.

The NieR Automata crossover is cool, especially if it adds some story or at least new boss challenges.

I think most people saw this coming, but having utterly enjoyed the game I won't give up the opportunity to pick it back up again.

@Rob_230 It's well worth it, as others have mentioned it's like being back in the golden age of the PS2 era, but with 21stC hardware. I've blasted through it 5 times now (for one entire playthrough dressed as a bear). There's this part of me that expects it to show up on PS Plus next year sometime though, unless PS are wanting to hold that off until SB2.
And I, for one, haven't actually got around to playing NieR yet, so I might come down on your side of the fence still.

@Nei 'xactly this! I didn't realise how much I missed that era until I played this game. I don't mind admitting (as a 40yr old fella) that I enjoyed this game like the kid I could be back then. All the nonsense around it was outta my mind by mid afternoon on launch day because it gave me something gaming hasn't for a very long time now; good, honest fun.

OMG I can't wait for it. Nier Automata and stellar blade are my favourites games ever. 2B looks astonishing. Or is it Eve with 2B's suit?
