In Case You Missed It, PS5 Pro Has a 2TB SSD Included 1

One small detail that wasn’t emphasised massively during Mark Cerny’s presentation of the PS5 Pro is that it’ll include a 2TB SSD hard drive out of the box, which is double the 1TB included with PS5 Slim models. You can still expand your storage using a non-proprietary M2 SSD purchased from whichever manufacturer you prefer, giving you flexibility to enhance the capacity of your console.

It could be argued this increased storage space helps alleviate the concerns caused by the lack of an included Ultra HD disc drive, although those who prefer physical media will understandably disagree. In case you missed it, you will be able to attach a Blu-ray drive to your PS5 Pro, but you’ll need to purchase it separately, for $79.99 in USA and £99.99 in the UK.

We’ve generally been getting by fine with 2TB of storage space in our PS5, so it seems like a fair amount to include with the PS5 Pro, but it’ll all depend on which games you play and how you consume them. Are you satisfied with this amount of storage space? Let us know in the comments section below.
