If the current Planet of the Discounts sale on PS Store isn't enough for you, Sony has another promotion up its sleeve. The latest batch of discounts is now available, and the deals are exclusively for members of PS Plus. If you subscribe to the service, you'll be able to take advantage of hundreds of extra deals on PS5 and PS4 games and their DLC.
Unlike most PS Store sales, this PS Plus exclusive offer has hundreds of discounts rather than thousands, but there are still some noteworthy price cuts for members. Let's take a look at a few highlights:
- Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection - £13.49/$11.99
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla + Immortals Fenyx Rising bundle - £21.24/$22.49
- Castle Crashers Remastered - £2.79/$2.99
- Evil Genius 2: World Domination - £6.99/$7.99
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition - £3.49/$3.99
- Overcooked: All You Can Eat - £12.24/$13.99
- The Sinking City - £3.99/$4.99
- Tails of Iron - £4.99/$6.24
- Wreckfest - £7.49/$8.99
UK readers can check out the full range through here, while those in North America should click here to browse the deals. The sale ends on 2nd October, so you've got roughly two weeks to take a look. Will you be nabbing any of these discounts? Tell us in the comments section below.

And what will I do when my PS Plus subscription expires on Chrismas? I will buy and enjoy my physical games as I did before.
Off topic:
If anybody is interested, Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven Demo is now available.
Solid looking jRPG goodness.
Townsman VR and max mustard for me. I’ll also be picking up Bloomtown: A Different Story this month, so will be quite busy considering I’m still playing Cult of the Lamb, Vampire Survivors, Monster Train, FM4, Vacation Simulator, Astro Bot, and Kingdom Come Deliverance… usually only play 2 games at a time max, but there is just too much coming out.
Just got the lovecraftian bundle for cheap which has ps5 versions of sinking city and sherlock holmes awakened for I think 8 quid. Considering sh awakened is showing as full price on its on
@MUG3NHC Staying off topic: I am very excited and will be checking this out immediately, thanks for the heads up.
@Max_the_German …okay? Has nothing to do with this article.
@dskatter You‘re right, I was in a bad mood and used this as a channel.
What I wanted to say: I couldn’t tell you by the prices which offers require PS Plus and which won’t. Do the publishers get a bigger share of the price from Sony when it is a PS Plus exclusive offer? Or why do they do this?
These (for me) unremarkable offers in combination with unremarkable monthly „free“ games and the ability to play non-F2F games online make it harder and harder to justify the rising PS Plus subscription price.
@Max_the_German You only require PS plus when you buy them, you will own the game forever and be able to play forever, regardless of having PS Plus anymore. Therefore it’s not really important to know which ones involve the PS Plus discount and which don’t, if you are viewing them in the store it will show the cheapest price available to you.
@ChrisDeku I know
@Max_the_German you still keep all discounted games you have bought with a PS sub. Only the free PS+ games are locked out until you re-sub.
@Max_the_German Again, nothing really to do with this article. Plus, it isn’t hard to determine which games need PS Plus for multiplayer, they literally say in the game description “PS Plus required for online play.”
@TheFakulty have you started sinking city at all? Always been tempted by it but not sure if it's any good
@rusty82 not yet. But I know it's an open world version of the sherlock games, which I enjoy
I guess when I replied to that sale article yesterday about buying “Castle Crashers” and “Knights and Bikes” I should have saved it for this sale.🤷🏻♂️
The 'sale' prices are still way more expensive than a physical edition from a raft of well-known, on-line retailers.
I think when I filtered ps5+full game I got 27 results and most looked to be garbage
@sanderson72 The ones listed in this article certainly aren’t. Kingdom Come Deliverance is like £20 on Amazon and even a second hand copy in eBay is over £10.
@Max_the_German You can tell which offers require PS Plus because they're all under a tab on the store titled "PS Plus Exclusive Discounts"...
@MrPeanutbutterz I couldn‘t tell BY THE PRICE. My question is: Are PS Plus discounts generally better than standard discounts? My thesis: They aren‘t. A game for originally e.g. 40 £ would be 24 £ with PS Plus discount after 12 months, then 40 £ back again, then 24 £ without PS Plus two months later etc.
And I ask myself: What benefits does a publisher have if choosing the PS Plus discount model compared to the standard discount model?
Did the ps app take away notifications for letting u know games in ur wishlist r on sale 🤔
@Max_the_German I get you. Personally I think this sale is quite naff but I'm sure there is something for somebody.
