Last month, the much loved TimeSplitters trilogy made its way onto PS5 and PS4, and there was much rejoicing. Available as part of PS Plus Premium's range of retro games, or purchasable standalone, TimeSplitters 1, 2, and Future Perfect are now all playable on current systems. The only real downside was a lack of Trophies — far from an essential inclusion, but it's a modern feature many fans love. The good news is that, just under a month later, all three games now support the digital trinkets.
Yes, the TimeSplitters games now each have their own set of Trophies on PS5 and PS4, as evidenced by new listings on PSNProfiles. All three games have a Platinum Trophy to nab, and it appears they're all pretty straightforward to achieve. You basically just need to play through each campaign, conquer all the challenge stages, and perform a few extra tasks here and there.
If you've been waiting to see if the games would get Trophies, now's the time to get started. And if you've played them through already, you now have a reasonable excuse to do it again — a win-win for all involved.
Are you pleased to see the inclusion of Trophies for the TimeSplitters trilogy? Tell us in the comments section below.

I noticed when you boot up the PS5 versions of Timesplitters 1 and 2, in the emulator settings a section called "Attributions" was added, it's just legal mumbo jumbo. Surely that was added accidentally and players weren't supposed to see all that stuff right?
Fantastic. Please, please, please do the same for Ridge Racer Type 4!
Awesome! I was just googling last night if they were already added in the meantime.
Finally going to start playing these 3 gems now!
I have never played any of these games but I fired up the first one and I have no idea what to do. It throws you into a level and I was told to find something.
@ZeD That is basically the entire gameplay loop of TS1 lol. It has aged like warm milk.
My advice to every newbie is to start with TS2. It is better in every single way. The plot of TS1 doesn't really have much bearing on 2 and 3 either apart from "time travel". There is a kind of soft reboot in effect.
@ZeD Yeah TS 1 is basically multiplayer maps with some bots thrown in; not very engaging these days. Deff skip that and do TS 2 and 3, they're way better. They have a proper campaign; very reminiscent of GoldenEye's mission structure.
Hopefully it reads my save and unlocks when i boot up the game. (TS1)
Oh darn. I was hoping this Ghibli inspired game wouldn't have trophies. Guess we can all still pray for an exclusive LRG release.
Seems Future Perfect hasn't been updated yet. Just finished a couple of games, so these will be my next Platinums
Back to playing it! Loving 2 again, what a game.
@JB_Whiting @LifeGirl Thanks! I was really confused when I loaded it up and was just dropped in a level 😂
@ZeD The second game actually has a level set called TimeSplitters Story Classic that puts even more plainly into view just how much of an improvement 2 is!
Best news I've read today. 😁
Held off playing them as this seemed like an inevitability. Good to see, they must have strong numbers by now that tells them premium titles are infinitely more popular if they've got trophies, seems odd that they'd release games without them at this point. Can only guess it's sinply time constraints stopping them.
I shall be downloading them again then!
@LikelySatan was about to get angry then saw your username... now it all makes sense
@UntilRespawn I'm sorry. Even I'm embarrassed by this sh*tpost. I have a rep to uphold.
Oh good night! I have so little free time these days, and I would love to play these games again!
Played TS2 to death back in the day for the story mode to unlock as much as I could it's a great game
Hmm, I wish the Trophies came out when the games came out on PSN :-/ Because I got 30+ Golds + 45 Silver(or better) on Arcade & Challenge modes(on TimeSplitters 2) before the update & now I just did 30+ Golds again & the Trophy didn't pop up?!?! :-/ REALLY ANNOYING IT REALLY IS!!! :-/ Not sure how to unlock them now. Oh well, BRILLIANT to finally have these games on PlayStation again tho (TS2 is my favourite & most played PS2 game to)
