Blumhouse's video game publishing efforts will properly kick into gear in October as it confirms a release date for PS1-inspired horror game Fear the Spotlight, releasing for PS5, PS4 on 22nd October 2024. Check out the new trailer above.

It's designed to be welcoming to survival horror newcomers while presenting "a creepy love letter to classic 90s horror experiences with a focus on rich storytelling, puzzle solving, and a tense atmosphere". Here's the setup: "The séance went terribly wrong. Amy has disappeared, and the school has transformed into a nightmarish version of its former self. Play as Vivian to uncover a dark hidden past while attempting to save both you and your friend."
