Infold Games has provided a brief look at Infinity Nikki, the twee open world gacha game coming to PS5. While this is largely promoting the release’s forthcoming PC and smartphone beta, we get to see a ton of new gameplay concepts, including platforming sequences, rhythm minigames, and even a musical sequence. The beta will launch on PS5 later this year.
While we’re a little concerned the game may be trying to do too much, it’s important to remember that one of Breath of the Wild’s chief designers has worked on this, meaning we should expect a varied open world experience. Personally, we’re excited for the magical fashionable gameplay – but what about you? Does this tickle your fancy? Let us know in the comments section below.

So onboard with this.
I thought this looked cool under the assumption it was an actual game. Gatcha means no chance in hell I’ll touch it.
Welp, that was a cute trailer!
But now I feel like I need to have a quick Lollipop chainsaw session to regain my mental health.
Looks epic i cant wait play this sissy-em-up
I hate how much this game has grown on me with every trailer. I went from hard pass to thinking this might be a nice relaxing cozy winter game.
Cute animals, bright colours, Im a sucker for the upbeat cuteness.
Looking forward to it..
Monetization is gonna make them a killing.
I thought this looked really cool but I had no idea it was free to play. I thought it was a proper game. And for that reason... I'm out.
all depends on how bad monetization is
How do we sign up for beta?
@Titntin it’s definitely the perfect game for that. This series existed for a while and always maintained great aesthetic but it’s only now transitioning to 3D if I’m not mistaken. It will have monetization, but it won’t be harmful to try. Really excited!
I don't care for F2P games but this looks like a game that is chill like dream light valley. So I am in.
It's a Gatcha game? A game designed specifically to take all of my money?
I just lost interest and will be staying far away.
