extra has been really bad for me as if late only giving it a pass because Essential has been having good months

The disrespect towards Sly Cooper 2 and 3 is insane! Sly 1 was released back in June and we've had no update since. The gap between Ratchet and Clank Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank wasn't this long, same with the gap between Jak and Daxter the Lost Frontier and Daxter.

@HeeHo I read a rumor it's been redone for PS5 on the new emulator. Since the other one ran so bad.

Nothing that jumps out at me. I mean, Dead Island 2 has been on Game Pass since forever.

Had a lot of fun with Dead Island 2 for a game in development hell turned out quite well, so I would recommend that. For anyone thats interested Ghostbusters can be done solo with bots.

I'll upgrade to Premium when I've got a couple days left and play Dino Crisis. Always been curious about this one.

The quality still isn’t what it used to be which I’ll continue to point out. But that said I’m very happy with this month’s selection on both extra and premium.

It’s great to see Dead Island 2 added to the list! I’ve been tempted to buy it but never pulled the trigger. I originally played the game when it first released on my Series X, but I’d love to replay it with the subsequent DLC and get the platinum trophy. Great month for me, even though I’m swimming in the deep end with games right now.

Seeing how RE1 on Premium hasn't had any trophies added, I'm guessing the same for Dino Crisis, zero trophies. Or pop my Dino Crisis physical disc into PS3. If DC has some trophies at some point and available for seperate purchase I'll just buy it digitally. Dino Crisis 2 with trophies too at some point would be splendid 🦖🦕

Great lineup - I've had The Devil in me and firefighter simulator on my wishlist for awhile. And nice to finally see Dino Crisis, hopefully RE3 gets added next

I signed up for a month of PS+ Extra last month to play Plucky Squire which was great, Crisis Core Reunion which was interesting, Infamous First Light which was short but fun and the single player story mode in Gigabash which I enjoyed for a couple of hours.

Don’t see anything on this month’s Extra list I even want to play, glad I cancelled.

Hopefully Siren has a platinum included this time.

I will probably have some co-op shenanigans with Dead Island 2 and Ghosbusters (coz Bustin makes me feel good) so yep, good enough for me.

This is the first month I've felt like I might want ps plus back. Dead island 2 has looked great. Still £45 in the store. Mmmm tempting. I bet it'll go on sale around Halloween though.

Dead Island 2. Yes please. Gris is good if you like that type of game. A nice mix of genres.

I'm a big Game Pass fan but it seems to me PS plus extra is getting more new games. Anyone else notice this?

Damn it! Another month where I have the PSVR2 game. I have to stop getting so excited and buying them at launch, I barely ever do that with flat games and there are far fewer VR games. Unfortunately nothing else in that list would appeal to me. Apart from maybe Gris.

Wildlands still looks gorgeous. Love that Bolivia setting.

The 2 little games Monkey Island and The Devil in Me will definitely make my wait for the PS5 Pro more enjoyable.

Dead island 2 and two point campus were both on my games I want on extra list so happy with that. Couple of others I may look at, namely monkey island. I like the idea of revisiting dino crisis but I rarely actually bother with premium games, I always find they tarnish the memories I have of playing them as a kid.

Good month overall. Was hoping for a truly great month to replenish the extra games backlog as it's been slim pickings for me for several months now but cannot complain at that offering at all.

@rusty82 good to know. I don't take any of them too serious so really I've enjoyed all of them with the exception of Man of Medan. Family typically all sit down together and just go with whatever but Man of Medan was just so boring. Couldn't finish it. Devil in Me is the only one I'm missing.

The Last Clockwinder is one of the best VR2 puzzle games.

@Rog-X and likewise, all of the decent gamepass additions this month have been on some tier of ps+ already. That's a common 2 way occurrence, 1 of the services gets ia title then it goes to the other.

Dino crisis will be played as well, I’ve made 5 attempts in the last 27? Years. Never played beyond the first two hours before getting distracted.

No Dead Island 2 in Japan. Anyone know what we get instead?

GRIS is a lovely, chill platformer in which you don’t shoot or attack and can’t die. It has a nice art style and soundtrack. And the developer’s new game, Neva, is being released next week, so nice timing.

I’ll try both Dead Island & Return To Monkey Island. So solid month for me! Still waiting for Small Soldiers from PS1 to make its triumphant return to modern consoles in PS+ Premium 😭😭😭

I'll play GRIS and Return To Monkey Island for easy platinums. Other than that nothing much for me.

GHOST RECON: Wildlands was a surprisingly good, solid and fun game. It was actually pretty funny too in some ways that were completely unintentional but none the less good for a chuckle.....

It's not a bad selection, but I can't imagine anyone who doesn't already have Extra or Premium seeing anything that would make them subscribe. I quit Extra 13 months ago and in that time nothing has come or gone that made me consider going back up.

@KyushuTrail To answer my own question, the Japanese line up has been announced. They’re not replacing Dead Island 2 with anything. So we only get 8 games not 10 (we also miss out on two point campus). What a joke

Great month for me. I love Dead Island games and have held back on DI2 for when I upgrade to a PS5 for the 60fps over the 30tps on my PS4 Pro. I'll download ASAP for my old Pro. There are a couple of other games on extra that look interesting enough to sample.

I purchased Dino Crisis for my PS3 and could not find an option to use the analog sticks instead of the d pad for movement. Unfortunately I then found it unplayable unlike Dino Crisis 2 I have on disk and can use the sticks on my PS2 and 3. I hope this version has been updated so I can play it using the sticks for movement.

Is there anything more annoying then the same mushrooms appearing every month just to say ´glad i cancelled´.
