The sublime retro beat-‘em-up Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will turn back time on PS5 and PS4 from 10th December, and we’re already counting down the days. This all-new adventure has been inspired by the 16-bit era of Power Rangers games, and features side-scrolling combat as well as gimmick stages inspired by Space Harrier and Super Hang-On.
The game’s available to pre-order now and will cost $34.99, although there’ll be a 10% discount available for all PS Plus subscribers.
“Rita’s Rewind puts a time travel twist on the classic Power Rangers journey along with a high-energy soundtrack scored by Sean Bialo to keep the adventure pumping,” the press release reads. “Battle against Robo Rita’s army of Putty Patrollers, General Goldar, and many other iconic bosses from across the series, all in couch co-op or online co-op with friends.”

I am a huge Power Rangers fan having watched all seasons multiple times. That said the game is more expensive than I thought. Still, there is the preorder discount, so I may get it
if only it was 35$. in Canada it's 45 which I know people hate this kind of thing but that's a bit steep for a beat em up when some games are like 20 bucks

Was I the only one shocked at the $35 price tag? Big MMPR fan and I definitely want this game but I don’t see it being justified for more than $25. Once it hits that price or lower, definitely gonna grab it.
