As per the norm, stuff like this never comes to my country at all.
Hungary & Bulgaria, but no Romania?? That’s dumb
How long before the remastered tour?
Forget those, Kula World songs was the best especially the bonus 1 and the Egypt track but I suppose it's a different time, different era now.
Edit: The Demo 1 underwater theme as well.
It's a cool idea to celebrate PS 30th anniversary. But my guess is the ticket will be expensives. I mean, no way Sony gonna charge low price for a musical concert.
@SrpskaArtilerija Relax, this isn't the complete list. This is from PS Blog:
"The global tour launches with a world premiere on April 15, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland, before heading to more than 200 cities across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and beyond. Whilst we are only announcing European dates at this time, be assured we’ll be announcing other world locations very soon."
If they came to Wales I’d probably go actually… I ain’t gonna cross the border though, they’re still legally able to shoot a Welshman on English soil with an arrow on Sundays 😅
Next up... God of War, the musical. Featuring such favourites as:
Kratos - "Boy!"
Atreus - "Im not just a Boy"
Brok - "The F### you say"
Mimir - "The ballad of the smartest man alive (truncated edition)"
Sindri - "The story of dirt, eughh"
Freya - "Revenge is a dish best cooked for a very long time"
The Asgarde ensemble - "Oops, we may have made them a bit angry..."
No “S S D” or “I’m your GPU”, then no sale.
I've always wanted to go to one of these gaming music events, but I expect they will sell out very quickly, so I may miss out again
Featuring the playstation pro 5 singing "where's me disk drive"
I went to FF7Rebirth Orchestra last month in Royal Albert Hall, it was amazing. Very tempted to go to the Dublin gig for this
It’s going to hit a city about 100 km from where I live. Might actually try to get the tickets if they aren’t outrageously expensive. Knowing Sony branded stuff- they will be lol.
Would love to go to this love watching Orchestras I've been to both Kingdom Hearts concerts that were in London and they were truly magical experiences. I can't imagine how incredible it would be to hear the God Of War themes Drake's theme, the Horizon theme and Ghost Of Tsushima music played live and if they perform Sly Cooper's theme at this I'd probably die and gotno heaven on the spot 😅
I would like to go if they come to my area in the United States.
Might try and grab a ticket, make it in to a holiday pop over to europe. Maybe switzerland or Amsterdam, see how much tickets are first though.
Is it me or are they going only to the countries where you can make a PSN account in?
What happened with Concorde concerts?
Killzone 2's "The Second Helghan March" and "Heavy Resistance" should definitely be played.
I really love this. The OST in the their games are always great. So I'd wanna go for sure if the show comes here.
@PuppetMaster thanks for the heads up, it’s still weird to announce the Tour going to two neighboring countries but avoiding right the one in-between… it’s like my country is a plague against anything fun…
This sounds fantastic; curious what the prices will be but this is so unique I'll have to go!!
Okay, never mind. Seems like the Finnish gig has been cancelled instantly. Wtf 😅
@SrpskaArtilerija The only countries that Sony will avoid are Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Russia, Iran, and Ukraine because they're in war.
So, possibly Sony not yet find a good place in your country that fit with the world tour schedule. That's why they will announce more countries / cities down the line. I mean, organizing a world tour with 200 cities around the world is definitely not easy.
So the boring IPs with the OSTs they want to push, cool, nothing to see here. Could they stop wasting money on this to be heard and do something for the fans and put that money into I don't know a good smaller game instead? One that isn't garbage either.
I get branched out to different things to get noticed, appeal to the fans or get others to be on board with tv shows, merch and more but come on.
Easily would go for any older OSTs instead. Most I remember aren't just old but new to me and still enjoyable then the same generic orchestral pieces I don't remember because they are just so forgettable to me or blend together I can't even tell the difference between them.
I'll stick to some Kula World, Devil Dice especially love that OST, some Ridge Racer, some PSP puzzle game OSTs, other racing game ones as in the original menu music I don't mean the licensed tracks.
No Ratchet, even then it'd be 2016 or Rift Apart not the Crack in Time or even the OG era ones because oh those had to be left behind or licensing maybe? The great atmospheric experimental stuff.
No Parappa, no Vib Ribbon display to put the OST disks in and play levels? No other stuff. What a display then.
It's like the 30th Anniversary all over again, IPs they want to push and everything else gets pushed aside, do they forget they have more than those games fans or 'stereotypical audience or demographic' they want to target with these it's just so annoying.
How about offering variety not the big games and even then I only like the inventory OST in Horizon, not the rest of the soundtrack.
Locations to offer it is one thing and is a challenge so them being at certain locations over others till finalised or the amount of money it would cost for each venue for sure.
But the IPs they focus on for OSTs, the ones I find forgettable because my music tastes just don't align, the games are passable at best and even then why cover other IPs they could, just the milk the same ones over and over and over and over and over and over Sony because you clearly don't care to try hard enough for your other IPs only the same obvious ones and wonder why we care less for the brand or why should we even support your other games when you don't care and push these same ones to support instead.
Big is one thing, variety of OSTs or IPs to cover is another. If they want to keep recycling by all means.
They can celebrate them sure, but I'm not instead.
Then again even when anniversary like for GT or Forza Motorsport happened the games they aligned with sucked of content anyway per those entries so what else is new either.
Sure whatever works for Sony I'm not missing out, nor do I care about music events like this, but they do have a place for those interested and enjoy those people that are interested or can reach them it's a cool thing to experience for sure, even at the Game Awards most OSTs blend together I can't even tell the difference let alone care anyway.
I personally love video game music concerts, so this is exciting news to me!
I will pick the performance seat over the fidelity seat please. Will they offer a Pro seat?
No Bloodborne music? Instafail.
