Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 Controller, Covers Push Square 1

Capcom will let you play Monster Hunter Wilds next week in a PS5 open beta, but it's going further for its Japanese and Asian fans with two accessories exclusive to the territories: a limited edition DualSense controller and a set of PS5 Slim Covers. They will be available in limited quantities and available on the same release day as Monster Hunter Wilds (28th February 2025), with the former costing 12,480 yen (~$80) and the latter 9,980 yen (~$65).

The PS5 controller uses a red coating as its base and then customises it with "the pattern on the first gear Hunters wear in the game". Then on the touchpad, the Forbidden Area Research Team logo is prominently displayed. This is the same emblem that appears on the PS5 Covers, which are first and foremost coated in a "midnight black" decal. The set will fit onto PS5 Slim consoles. If you really want either of them, you'll likely need to rely on the likes of Playasia.

Actually playing Monster Hunter Wilds is obviously the most important part, though, which is possible next week from 28th October with PS Plus, or on 31st October if you don't have a subscription. You can learn more through the link.
