Techland has announced in its latest Dying 2 Know More livestream that the Tower Raid mode will be returning to Dying Light 2 for a Halloween event that also introduces a new, optional control scheme in patch 1.19. Tower Raid is available in its Halloween form from 30th October until 20th November, and this latest version adds a new character system and more levels to master. See it in action in the trailer above.
Tower Raid is a rogue-lite mode where you need to fight your way through waves of undead across eight floors to earn loot and rewards. The first week will be all about the new progression system, the second introduces a harder difficulty mode, and the final seven days unlock new bounties to complete.
A press release adds: "Every mistake can be deadly but if gamers are brave enough there are plenty of rewards waiting for them. Alongside last year’s rewards, Baka will also have a brand new Van Aiden outfit, gear pieces and weaponry as an ultimate reward! Fans can purchase all rewards with candies collected from Tower Raid or rewards for bounties."
The returning mode is bundled in with patch 1.19 on PS5 and PS4, which also adds a new control scheme to the game that's designed around guns. There'll also be quality-of-life improvements alongside further weapon bundles.

And still no release date for The Beast…
That’s the most Fortnite wallpaper I’ve ever seen.
