Ape Escape is just one of the series synonymous with PlayStation — the PS1, in particular — and so it makes sense to see Fangamer celebrating the franchise as Sony's gaming brand approaches its 30th anniversary.
The gaming merch retailer has brought back some neat-looking enamel pins, one with the face of a pipo monkey, the other resembling a Specter coin. However, it's gone beyond these with a couple of other, brand new products — a snazzy Ape Escape t-shirt, and a brilliant pipo monkey plush toy.
The plush measures about 20cm, and is filled with plastic beans, so it'll flop around rather than sit up straight. Additionally, it has magnets in its hands, meaning you can stick the monkey on metal surfaces or, if you like, other pipo monkey plushies.
All these items are available from Fangamer's US and EU sites. Will you be grabbing any of these Ape Escape bits and bobs for your collection? Catch you in the comments section below.

Nawl, breh. The best way to celebrate a game anniversary is with game releases!
Yellow shirt... It was made for me. Oh well, money was made to be spent.
They're adorable I love them ^__^
Oh wow, this is all very cute. I kinda want the plushie!
I love that they have the magnetic hands. Put them in a ton of goofy situations.
"I hate every ape that I see, from Chimpan-A to Chimpanzee"
I always look at these guys, then look at the Minions/Rabbids, and wonder if the apes were ahead of their time or Sony just failed the IP.
Lovely, but we need far more Astro Bot merch - Christmas is coming up and my lad is desparate for Santa to bring a sackful for Astro goodies!
