Those of you holding out for Black Myth: Wukong's anticipated PS5 physical edition will soon feel relief, as boxed copies will hit shelves next month on 12th December. PM Studios is handling the logistical end of things and confirmed that the date will be the same for UK fans (thanks, Eurogamer).
This release will mark the game's first printing in physical form, including the Deluxe Edition upgrades' digital goodies; the collector's edition available at launch contained a measly digital download code. Black Myth sold an astonishing 20 million units (primarily on PC) in its first month on the market, earning the plucky newcomer a spot on the GOAT list alongside Minecraft and GTA 5.
Will you pick up a boxed PS5 copy of Black Myth: Wukong? How many units do you think this second release will account for? Let us know in the comments section below.

Hope the patches will be on the disc and not a vanilla release.
Cool but how about a Pro patch because this game seriously needs one.
Hopefully this game looks even better on the pro. It looks awesome anyway and I was never bothered by the supposedly rubbish performance. Awesome game.
Excited to see what monkee can run on the pro. Got me pre-order down.
@Northern_munkey haha, "supposedly rubbish performance" gets it right. I'm always baffled what is described as unplayable.
Hoping however to have the patches on disc. Holding off digital only releases always pays off. Next is Alan Wake 2.
just finishing the game, I am at the last chapter
Great game.
@Loamy same. And they are taking their sweet time about it.
Finally beat last boss last night, now to enter Ng+ to get platinum!
Excellent game, might well be beating out Stellar Blade as my personal GOTY (sorry Eve).
Performance issues on base PS5, I saw very little of it, a couple of areas were slightly slow when looking but I always found the combat fine.
(Purple Cloud) Mountains out of molehills.
N.i.c.e. i will be getting the physical disc version of black myth wukong.word up son
I wish game collection didn’t take money on pre order cuz would have used them.
@DennisReynolds Agreed. Game's amazing, sure. But it needs some polishing up lol
@Loamy agreed. The majority of the time people harp on about game breaking performance issues I often wonder if I'm playing the same game. I've never had issues with wukong and I honestly didn't find dragons dogma 2 that bad either. Lies of p and lords of the fallen both were well within what I'd personally class as acceptable but I guess it's just wrong to actually enjoy something and ignore the little niggles..
Nice! Finally get a chance to support this developer.
Pro patch would also be nice do this one!
