Following one of the strongest launches in the series' entire history, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been updated with its first season of content. Also covering Battle Royale spin-off Warzone, Season 1 provides fresh multiplayer and Zombies content, as well as the game's first Battle Pass to work through.
Three new multiplayer maps in Hideout, Extraction, and Heirloom are available now, as too is the next Resurgence map for Warzone, called Area 99. If you're into Zombies, or are looking to give the mode a try for the first time, a new Guided Mode is now available for Liberty Falls and Terminus. Rather than trying to work out the objectives and easter eggs on your own, you'll now be — as the name implies — guided through them. The brand new map Citadelle Des Morts arrives later on in Season 1.
The multiplayer mode in Black Ops 6 will also see additions throughout the season, most notably a further three maps for a total of six across the entire season. They will be Racket, Hacienda from Black Ops 4, and Nuketown Holiday. For all of today's Season 1 patch notes, click the link.
Black Ops 6's first Battle Pass also presents another progression path to work through alongside the returning Prestige system. There are the usual 100 tiers to unlock, each giving you rewards like new weapons, skins, and more. If you got the Vault Edition of the game, this is when you get those extra items like the Blackcell skin, 1,100 CP, and 20 Tier Skips.
