NetEase Games has confirmed that Hawkeye will be part of the Marvel Rivals character roster when the upcoming PS5 title launches on 6th December 2024. He's the 28th superhero of a launch lineup that'll have 33 characters in total, so a further five are still to be revealed in the next couple of weeks. Our Marvel Rivals Confirmed Launch Characters guide is keeping a list of them all.
As the quick clip above demonstrates, Hawkeye will come equipped with his trademark bow and arrow, but can also call upon two swords for close-quarters combat. "Hawkeye is ready to take aim with his Piercing Arrow, charging his shot for the right moment," the YouTube description explains. "Prepared to fight anyone at any distance, his blast arrow is sure to wreak havoc to those who dare try and get close to him. Deflecting his enemies is certainly no easy task, but he's ready to prove himself and take on the challenge."

Marvel Rivals launches as a free-to-play PS5 game on 6th December 2024, and will provide instant access to all the 33 playable characters. NetEase Games has ensured there won't be any pay-to-win elements, with a Season 0 carrying the game for one month, until the proper first season arrives in January.

Here's hoping Wolverine is one of the final 5.
I'm hoping Japseye gets added.
I know they're probably a bit controversial, but I personally really like the character designs they've come up with for this game. I think a lot of them are interesting interpretations, like this.
Makes me wish MCU Hawkeye was made into more of a badass that leaned into the Ronin persona. Seeing him use swords along with his bow could have made for some cool action sequences.
@DennisReynolds the full roster leaked a while back and Wolverine is the final character of the launch line up. The devs even teased the fast ball special with hulk in a recent dev diary video
@MFTWrecks I don't think it is a controversial opinion. I think many have found it a refreshing change from the more realistic MCU aesthetic.
@PloverNutter Oh nice great to hear.
@MFTWrecks The designs are fantastic the artists really have cooked with them in my opinion. Gutted Spidey's look has no chance appearing in SM2 now as its amazing.
Once this game is out everyone will forget about the NetEase money laundering report and by the time Destiny Rising is out everything will be a distant memory lol.
