Attentive members of the community noticed last week that Baldur's Gate 3 would be enhanced on PS5 Pro, and now we have the specifics. Larian Studios says the game's Quality and Performance modes on Sony's shiny new hardware have been refined "to achieve crisp console visuals without sacrificing smooth performance."
Timed to coincide with the release of PS5 Pro, Quality Mode now runs at a native 4K (2160p) at 30fps. Performance, meanwhile, will upscale from 1440p to 2160p at 60fps through the power of PSSR (thanks, IGN). For those of you with friends, split-screen play on PS5 Pro has also received a buff, now running at 30fps or 60fps, depending on the setting.
Will you be revisiting Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5 Pro? Where are we supposed to find the time to play these revitalised games? Sleep during the day in the comments section below.

That just seems like it's bringing it up to the same settings that most games are able to achieve on the base PS5. 60fps in co-op is nice though.
According to that DF video, it's still quite constrained by CPU in some areas, so don't expect the 60fps to be constant everywhere. Definitely runs better though.
@Bentleyma I'm pretty sure most games that aren't Sony tend to struggle with this exact thing in their respective performance modes on base PS5. Therefore pretty sure this is the exact reason PS5 Pro is even a thing.
Interesting news, thanks for the update. Hope someone uploads a late game video of it running on the pro.
I was so close to buying BG3 on this current sale, but decided to finally try Dragon’s Dogma 2 on the shiny new PS5 Pro. BG3 will stay on my radar for now.
@Voltan That was without pssr and it had a good improvement without it. So with it it's only going to get better.
