Update []: Well, never mind. The LinkedIn profile which bears the Timeless Travel name appears to be a fake one.
The profile, belonging to a supposed Raymond Keller, purports to have a background at Bungie and WB Games Montreal — working on Gotham Knights — in addition to a current position at Naughty Dog, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence of such a name in the credits of the aforementioned action game or any Destiny projects.
Unfortunately, this seems to be nothing more than a trick. We'll update this again if anything new comes to light, but it's looking like a false alarm.
Original Story: We all know Naughty Dog is beavering away at something, we just don't know what. Well, we know it'll be a single player game in the studio's usual style, with the developer committing to that after dropping its multiplayer The Last of Us title. But what is the Californian studio up to?
A clue from LinkedIn has appeared (spotted by Arktix), and it could very well reveal the title of the team's new IP. It would appear the game is known as Timeless Travel:
We've seen the profile in question, and can confirm it does indeed feature this phrase at the time of writing. This will likely be removed once Sony and Naughty Dog are made aware of it.
It's possible that Timeless Travel is a codename of some sort, although codenames are typically nondescript words or phrases. Timeless Travel reads as some kind of sci-fi or possibly fantasy adventure, either of which would be a refreshing change of pace from Naughty Dog.
Whatever the case, we expect the studio's cinematic style will permeate the game; indeed, it seems like Troy Baker is set to play a role in the team's next title.

The Last of Us Part 3: Timeless Travel… 😉
It’s possible. It could honestly be anything. Very few video games don’t involve some kind of travel. 😅
Regardless, I’m looking forward to seeing something new from Naughty Dog. They haven’t disappointed me yet!
So, it's a game about photons
So we’re saying it has Fast Travel then? 🥸
Hoping it's a new IP involving portals.🤞
Reminds me of Francis Sinclair board from RDR2, been wanting something like that.. only one can dream ✨
It should be called we haven't made a new ps5 game yet.🤔come on dog.word up son
It was rumoured a few weeks back to be a fantasy game too wasn't it?
Edit: Been hoping for a good fantasy game from ND.
Updated. Very likely a false alarm, sorry folks.
@Shepherd_Tallon yes, in this article, and some bloke somewhere.
Timeless Travel: an emotional journey rather than a technical one.
@Mr_B021 TLoU3, Ellie sees a double rainbow and starts crying for 30 hours, then the game ends. Better than 2 at least.
Oh for fakes sake... 🤣
Of course it's fake, they are all hands on deck on working on the Last Of Us Part 2 PS5 Remaster.
This studio has enough technical know how to make the next Metal Gear. They've done enough abandoned ruins and unwashed hillbillies. Gimmie some sci-fi next.
Space monkey. Shoot her off into space!
Whetever they make next, I hope it's something fun and adventurous, like the Uncharted games was, and not yet another depressing, pretentious, "psycho-girl" simulator.
I thought they were re-remaking The Last of Us for the PS5 Pro. Apparently you can notice even more leaf and hair movement than before.
I don't care what they do, but please do something other than Uncharted or Last of Us. We've seen enough of those two for now.
@Pat_trick
Finally their true vision can come to life!
Just saw this after the update that it's fake news xD. I didn't have my chance to do some theories!!
The First of Us?
I thought they were working on a new IP or something. I would sure hope so, Naughty Dog as talented as they can be it would be shameful for them to just be the Uncharted/Last Of Us studio.
@Steel76 Druckmann won't go for it. We aren't allowed to just lose ourselves in fun stories anymore. No, Naughty Dog produces art, and real art is about suffering.
I would like to learn more about Savage Starlight, so maybe a game based upon that?
