With LEGO Horizon Adventures, Studio Gobo and Guerrilla have made it pretty clear that the whole game has been constructed using true-to-life LEGO pieces. The result is a seriously impressive and consistent visual style, but a new video frames it another way. If you have the right bricks, you can rebuild anything you see in the game in real life.
We suspect only true LEGO aficionados will have a robust enough collection of blocks to recreate anything major, but it's a great fact nonetheless. While the Tallneck was released as an official set, the rest of Horizon's machines have been given a similar treatment in this game, and theoretically you can build them yourself, which is pretty cool. Hopefully this game's existence will spur on Sony and LEGO to release more Horizon sets, as the machines in particular lend themselves perfectly to the medium.
Elsewhere in the video, the dev team talks about retelling the original game's story in a family-friendly way, injecting silliness and humour into what is a relatively serious tale. They also discuss the game's customisation options; you can dress up characters however you want, and the buildings in the hub can also be decorated to your liking, further accentuating the fun factor.

Please (don't) make these sets real.
I really (don't) want to spend ungodly amounts of money on them.
I have the LEGO Tallneck and it really is beautiful. I would definitely buy a thunderjaw
I've said it before, some weeks ago actually: LEGO should release separate sets and figurines based on the Horizon Lego game.
Sets that can function separately or can be combined to form a big settlement with different buildings, people, machines etc - similar to their train cities.
That would be cool!
Just ordered the tallneck for Christmas. Haven't gotten a Lego set for Christmas in 30+ years.
@Shepherd_Tallon Enjoy building it. Some bits were tricky, but it looks amazing once it's built.
I'm dreading (rip wallet) / excitedly anticipating a thunderjaw/ tremortusk!!
@Shinnok789 I just bought the lego viking village: https://www.johnlewis.com/lego-ideas-21343-viking-village/p110980526
I fully intend to add my lego Aloy to the set with my tallneck behind it and the watcher somewhere near the village 🤣
A mate of mine has that giant Lego tallneck and it's so, so, so cool 🤤
I need more Lego sets based on Horizon. That Tallneck is so good! Would love a thunderjaw and more lego figurines, one of Sylens especially.
I've got a massive pot full of lego so I can be proper authentic and build them straight from the cauldron.
I would be pretty cool if the physical copy of the game came with a QR code that links to instructions on how to build each of the monsters in the game as well as the list of Bricks required for each build (just like how all sets have a Brick sheet in case you need to order replacements).
Sure, it would probably cost more than having LEGO come out with an official set, but for those with disposable incomes, it would be nice to order all the bricks individually from LEGO's official store based on official checklists.
I don’t buy Lego even though I want most of it haha, but I got the Talkneck day one. Great set.
Surprised they didn’t have more ready to go at the launch of the game.
Head to Rebrickable, plenty of Lego MOCs on there
