Songs of Silence is a compelling blend of turn-based strategy with real-time combat, boasting a painterly, art-nouveau aesthetic. Fresh from Steam's Early Access, this daring blend of mechanics is available now on PS5.
Reminding us, encouragingly, of our beloved Heroes of Might & Magic series (but with a modern twist), what Songs of Silence is going for is not the sort of thing you often see on console. Your time will be split between a campaign overworld, exploring and expanding your kingdom. Battles play out in real-time but can be affected by the timely use of cards, and each faction has a unique roster of creatures to command. With a lengthy 15+ hour campaign, co-op and competitive multiplayer, Songs of Silence offers a well-rounded strategy package.
What do you think of Songs of Silence? Does the mix of real-time combat and more measured, turn-based empire management sound compelling? Make some noise in the comments section below.

Im a big fan of the old Heroes of Might and Magic, so this one has a great deal of appeal. I also appreciate the aesthetics!

Just saw the trailer the other day for the first time and I can't stop thinking about it.
