Update []: Winter Wonder, Astro Bot's Christmas-themed DLC level announced recently, is now available to play. After downloading the latest game update (roughly 3 GB), you'll be able to spot a comet as you fly around the galaxy map; fly into it and the level will become available to play.

It's also worth saying again — you will need to have completed the main game before you can dive into this free DLC stage.

The level features seven new Special Bots to collect as you explore the festivities, too.

Original Story: You thought Astro Bot's run of free DLC updates was finished? Developer Team Asobi has just announced one last treat for fans of PS5's plucky platformer, and it launches free for all players tomorrow, 12th December.

This special new DLC is a festive-themed level named Winter Wonder. Accessible once you complete the main game, Winter Wonder is a colourful, Christmassy stage for all ages, rather than another challenging speedrun like the previous additions.

While details are scarce, we do get a brief look at what it comprises in the above clip.

The level looks like the jolliest thing this side of Santa's workshop, but it will also contain some Special Bots to find.

These might be related to some games, characters, and franchises discovered in the Astro Bot credits that have yet to make an in-game appearance.
