Capcom has been gradually bringing all of its classic titles forward in retro compilations, and the next one up is Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Announced back in August, the collection includes a bunch of exciting old school fighters, and it appears that it won't be long until we get to play them all.
As spotted by Nintendeal on Bluesky, ESRB — North America's games rating authority — has recently posted a rating for this collection:
Usually, when ESRB makes a rating public, it means a game is no more than about six months away. What that means is we could be looking at a release within the first half of 2025, maybe even the first quarter.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 includes a total of eight games, as well as a music player and museum features:
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
- Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2
- Project Justice
- Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
Here's hoping this rating means it's coming shortly. Which of these games are you excited to play? Let us know in the comments section below.
