One of our favourite indie games in recent years is Toem, a sweet, simple, black and white adventure game about taking photos. We're very pleased to learn that a direct sequel is in development.
Aptly named Toem 2, all we have to go on right now is the above teaser trailer and a few screenshots. It looks to retain a similar visual style to the original, though more three-dimensional this time.
We're definitely down for another relaxing adventure, using photography as a mechanic to help out villagers and solve puzzles.
Unfortunately, there's no release date, and platforms are yet to be confirmed, but we're fairly sure Toem 2 will join its predecessor on PS5.

I really enjoyed the first game so I will definitely pick this up. Always down for short interesting experiences like this.
Similar to Moonlighter this was an Indie game i really enjoyed but don't think I need a sequel. Of course that will depend on what new ideas and mechanics they can bring to the table, but my initial instinct is to play something different.
Excellent news, really enjoyed the first game
Loved the first game until it was broken by the DLC for many players. Credit to the dev team they issued numerous patches to fix the issue, but for some (including me) the only fix was to delete the save data and start again.
I'll go back to it someday...
Great relaxing game. I played the first one around the time I played chicory, was a great combo.
I played Toem based on a friend's recommendation which I'm glad I took. A sequel wasn't on my bingo card but I'll be there when it launches.
Nice sub, the devs missed a trick not going with that as a title. Looking forward to this.
Cheese. Very excited for this one
Yay! The first one is so cute and charming and fun. It was a great game to use on the Backbone too for casually playing through!
I loved the first one so much that I got all achievements on Xbox (where I played it at the time). Looking forward to this sequel!
Loved this game and thought it would be perfect for a handheld. Unfortunately I did not yet have a Portal when I played, so a sequel sounds great.
Great little series, will be on the wishlist for sure.
I literally just played this a couple weeks ago. Very delightful, simple game. I'd welcome more.
