Not related but I noticed i can redeem ps store Cash again with stars I am pretty sure I couldn't 2 or 3 days back

I just bought Persona 4 Golden on the switch for 11 bucks lol. Owell, rather the portability of it anyway

Another cash grab by shady Sony for digital content that gets removed without notice.

@themightyant you're not kidding, I tried to play legacy of kain and g police yesterday , so blurry and basically unplayable, ill stick to my vita in future.

Gan Turismo is $29.39 and RISE of the Ronin is $39.89. I've been waiting for these 2 to go along my newly purchased PS5 Pro. Hell yeah!

I just check Asia store and so many sale for shovelware games. Maybe US / EU store has better sale compare to Asia but so far this sale is pretty underwhelming, especially for a 30th Anniversary scale.

And I wish they put a big sale on PS3 and Vita store. So many PSP and PS1 + PS2 classics that i wanna buy but all of them are quite expensives.

I am eyeing up Tombi/Tomba, I think it is time to buy it!

@PuppetMaster oh there's a ton of them in the uk sale too, although if I tick price filter to not include games below £1 that removes a lot of them.

And about 80-90% of them are shovel-ware. Also - I kinda feel this back-to-back sales isn't exactly consumer friendly.

Edit - and for a 30th Anniversary Sale, it actually looks like a pretty lame sale for the most part (even compared to the Black Friday sale) - though of course that all depends on your preferences

@Mikey856 It works for me fine, it's just incredibly slow and downloads are awful even on ethernet. It took 3hrs to get to 56% of God of War HD which is 9GB in size, it took 30 mins to download PS1 version of G-Police as that's £1.99 and it's 800mb.

It's not my connection as Steam will download 50mb/sec, PS5 is perfectly fine as well

I missed out on LADP Future Cop that's been removed in fact more games are getting removed and it's not been reported much. I think 2025 is the year they will shut it down it's hardly nothing on it you would think they would still put sales on for it because it's not like you can play loads on PS5

@LifeGirl Quick question, just to lead off of that, were digital Black Friday prices much higher than normal, discounts not as good as years past?

It seemed like across PS and Xbox, a lot of games were not on sale, and if they were the prices were really really really disappointing.

Arcade paradise vr is just under a tenner plus the three game bundle (inc tin hearts and last worker) is around 16 quid.

Got myself some Indies: Butcher Special Edition, Squad 51 vs Flying Saucers, 9 Monkeys of Shaolin, Postal: Brain Damaged and Exo One (pld this on gamepass already and absolutely loved it).
Gonna say it again and again (and again 😜), when you're into psychological horror and a little bit walking simulator/re 7 style gameplay (yes, it has shooting), do yourself a favor and get 'In Sound Mind'. The 4 bucks are very well worth it.
Also some great offerings for retroshooter fans: 'Exhumed' and 'Rise of the Triad' available. Both are great remasters.
If you like old school arcady beat em up (sort of Street of Rage, but from top down view) you want to look into 'Redeemer', thats pretty cool too.

I hope the holiday sale that will start later in December has (better) deals on more popular games.

You'd think they would have put a sale on the PS3 just for one last hurrah I mean it's a dead system for most (except me) and I reckon the store will be shut down next year but just one last thing to give it something you know. I mean it did do well for the years against Xbox 360 first couple not so much but you know

It's like a dozen or two of actual games...the rest is just shovelware...like in each "sale"

Got absent minded and forgot to finish my purchase for Alan Wake II Deluxe Edition from the Black Friday sale. Overlapping sale events (often with similar products being offered for similar or less money) have conditioned me to wait til the last minute. This time it backfired on me. That $39.99 for AW2 and all the dlc was nice but hopefully it’ll come back for that price in an End of Year sale or something.

Not really anything in this one that interests me. Maybe I’ll grab Tomba for $11.99. Never played it before.

Edit: forgot to mention new release Nine Sols was also a couple bucks off. Not a big deal, it wasn’t a huge discount or anything but still kicking myself over it. Plus I would actually play that now instead of backlogging it.

As a newcomer to PSVR2, there's a few games there I will be picking up for sure.

And 95% of it, is crappy shovelware and DLC...
